  Opened account and they were very friendly and it was an easy process. I travel out of town and my card is shut down. I call and they get it back working and I tell them at this te I will be out of town for the next two days and it is important that this card works at which time I'm told no problem. That afternoon card is shut down again just after bank closes leaving me stranded not able to get a ride to where I am staying. Called branch that was open the next day and they will not answer phone.

  I have been with this credit union for over 20 years and never had an issue with them. The staff at edwin miller are thr best and always friendly. You want a good bank then come to this credit union.

  This is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with, bar none. Things which other credit unions do online or do 24 hours a day, they only do in person during business hours. Their debit card is the definition of a "fee harvester" card. I once got 4 fees in one day because they approved a slightly overlimit transaction followed by four smaller transactions. I told them that I did not want them ever to approve an overlimit transaction again. The next month, Citibank tried to take their monthly credit card payment. It was not paid by 167th but the full overdraft fee was still applied. Over about 3 days, citibank tried repeatedly to run the payment and each time the transaction was declined by 167th. My small but positive balance was wiped out and I was left more than $300 negative. When I talked to the folks at 167th, they were rude and insulting, blamed me, and refused to reduce the fees by one penny. So now, 3 years later, this account is in ChexSystems as a charged off checking account. This is preventing me from opening a new checking account. And 167th folks are still 100% inflexible, unwilling to reduce my required payment by one cent. Recall that they never once paid any money, that I lost all of the money in my account, and the entire balance is composed of fees which would be illegal in many countries and with many lending products. Fee Harvesting may be legal with checking accounts, but it shouldn't be, and regardless of legality it is immoral and disgraceful. Which would be easier to write off as bad bank policy if they were not so rude, still blaming me for their own just slightly legal practice. Run away from this credit union. If you have an account, close it before they find a way to screw you over and gloat about it to your face like they have done with me.

  Great service from a bank I didn't know I could bank with. I always thought it was a military only bank but that's not so! So thankful they're now my bank.

  Tried to open account. Each person had something different to say. Just wanted another account for a vacation savings. So Navy Federal will get that bussiness to.
