  They won't finance pet's even if you get a screaming deal on an american alligator. Turns out its their loss. Bank Of America financed my service alligator with no questions asked. 84 months put me right where I wanted to be.

  My experience with the 1199 SEIU staff at 498 7th Ave New York , NY was amazing. Jignasha and Kenya did a fantastic job helping me to complete my paper work for tuition reimbursement. It was the day after July 4th (Independence day, 2021) and I thought everyone would have been tired from all the festivities . But Kenya and Jignasha went all the way out to help me. I was so nervous because I was not familiar with the new system / updates etc. These ladies made sure I was comfortable and assured me that I will be ok and my paper work will be submitted. I must sincerely commend them. Thanks Kenya and Jignasha for making my customer service a pleasant one. M . L Jackson.

  Phone clerk rude as in sarcastic, as if your bothering them if you have a question, that was their first mistake, second puts you on hold purposely if they don’t like your questions. Resolve nothing for me, but give me high blood pressure, and mine you I have direct deposit with them and they charge YOU to take your money out. And please be aware, any loan you apply with them will only be base on your credit score and they charge 10 dollars for your credit report, no matter how many years you been with the union. I’m on my way day-off to close my 2 year account with this horrible service & treatment. I recommend you don’t do it.

  I had to wait an whole year to rejoin the union which is unbelievable! The lady that does the interview sessions was very rude sent me home because I had on all white Gucci dressy sneakers and some of my original documents. I tried to get in contact with the recruiter and the phone goes to voicemail nobody really followed up with me since then.

  They do not have cash. So if you need cash out of your account right away you are SOL. God forbid you have an emergency. You have to go to one of their affiliate. I asked the teller who don't know anything and he told me the nearest one is Bethpage, LI. I live in NJ -- for real -- to get my own money? I asked the supervisor about that, she told me to check the website. Customer service is non-existent. I cannot tell you how atrocious my experience was. I am thinking of closing this account.

  So I've been an 1199 member for 11yrs now. I just recently found out about the credit union and decided to go in and see if I can open an account and get some advise on my credit situation. I was treated cold the minute I walked in. The lady at the front desk seem like she didn't even want to work and I was advised to fill out application and they will call me back. They dont even want to speak to you in this place. Soooo disappointed. I was treated better at a regular bank. They really need to be more considerate about their members. I was advised that credit unions try their best to help their members....yeah ok that's a joke...

  They are the most unprofessional and rude liars, I have ever met. My health and dental benefits were turned off with no warning. 4 different phone calls and 4 different answers from people there as well as multiple emails, nothing gets done. Its sad, pathetic and unprofessional.

  The place to go for an auto loan at great rates on great terms. The whole process, from application to funding, was much easier than I expected and fairly straightforward. Robert was such a great help. He's on top of everything and gets it done quickly. Become a member of the 1199 SEIU Federal Cu and you will reap the benefits!

  This credit union is the most unprofessional, disorganized rude organization I ever dealt with, when calling you are put on hold for hours, staff never knows what is going on. I don't know whose worse the associates or the managers just totally frustrated.

  I've been trying to get through to the credit union for about two weeks now and I can't get through. I called anthor # on the website and spoke to an operator and she was no help. And told me she can't help me out she's just the operator. Ain't that something 😠
