  Wintrust Mortgage is archaic and way behind the times. Online systems and pages are not capable of supporting today's consumer needs. This also carries over from their online banking experience. The whole platform is sub-par and in desperate need of updating. It makes a huge difference when managing your finances and loans when you have a user friendly platform. This is NOT the case and it has been this way for the 5+ years I have had my mortgage with Wintrust. Shotty work at best. Hire new and better developers or replace those that decide what should or should not be part of the end user experience, because it appears as though they don't have a clue.

  Our loan originator Jason Brown really sold me on his know how and expertise in financing our new home. We initially were planning on using our existing mortgage company however, Jason Brown offered better options, kept us fully informed, and really broke things down to where we were more aware of our finances, home affordability, the application and borrowing process. I will also give kudos to the loan processor Wendy Ehrhard for getting things all in order to make it happen. I will also add that Jason followed up during and after closing to check that all was in order and that things were going as planned. Thanks to him and the Wintrust team, things went smoothly!   Jen was the best! I called multiple mortgage agents and nobody could give me a straight forward answer except for JEN! Easy to work with and very transparent, I'd highly recommend her!
