John Jones1Went looking to buy a used Explorer they had on Craigslist for out daughter's first car. We looked it over and wanted to get it checked out by a local mechanic's shop. The person working the desk called the owner who said we could test drive it but not have it checked out. We decided something must have been wrong with it that he didn't want us to find out about. So we looked elsewhere. Buyer beware.
Response from the ownerUnfortunately, our employees cannot be gone long enough for a mechanic to do an entire inspection but only long enough for a test drive and they must be in the vehicle due to insurance purposes. You were more than welcome to have someone come here to check it out. We try to work with our customers. Hope you will give us another try!
