  Western States Bank is small but effective, financially stable and gives good customer service. There are branches all over the place. The ladies at the Gering branch are very friendly and know you by name. I wouldn't bank anyplace else.

  Had a medical loan here. Paid it in full and was requesting a copy of the statement saying I paid it in full. Steve was completely unwilling to provide me a copy. He was trying to provide math and told me I should have receipts... which I do. Once I threatened to close all my accounts, his whole answer changed, not the tone or attitude. This was different than any other conversation had with him in the past. I will be checking my statement. Can't believe how hard it is to find a # to call on the website. I will find one though.

  I do all my banking here (I have for over 5 years, since I was 16), all of the employees do a phenominal job. I have had only one breach on one of my cards and they caught it right away and got me a new card. I know all of the tellers by name and they are always super friendly when I go in to deposit my check or any other reason. I have had them help me with anything from laminating cards, to figuring out which credit card would work best for me, to even helping me fill out a bill of sale for a vehicle. Their mobile banking app is very useful too. I trust this bank 100% and would be reluctant if I had to do business with any other bank.
