Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Taylor Cantrell1Seems like every time I go to the business drive through it gets harder and harder to do what I need to do. Our business has been using this bank for years but now I will be driving to the Waxahachie location when I can. Red Oak won't deposit my checks and after months of getting change, my account is suddenly not set up to get change? When addressing this with the teller, the other stepped in and changed her previous answer to I now require my account number for all change transactions. Don't know if it's just me personally they don't like or just our business. Regardless, it's now a corporate account so I can't close it, but I will be venturing all the way to Waxahachie. The inconvenience of driving further (with these gas prices) is less than the inconvenience of possible turned down service in Red Oak.
Response from the ownerThanks for bringing this to our attention, Taylor. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. To ensure I can forward your concerns to the appropriate team, please mention your full name, phone number, mailing address, and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). Barry Herrmann1Banked at wellsfargo along time.time for a change. big bank doesn't care about the customers. They dont answer the phone. Cost me alot of money on the ppp loan ,refused to work with me on the required forms that was above what was necessary. Only want to work with large companies. Ok update they are canceled an account that helped me help my daughter but groceries. They now want to open an account that charges a monthly fee imagine that also just check the Better Business Bureau damn a one star from the Better Business Bureau. I have complained to the bank only the response came from the financial advisor.

Kevin Johnson1Why is the Red Oak drive through so slow? For the past few months it's taking longer & longer to make a deposit. I go to the drive through because my job doesn't offer direct deposit and I always need cash back. I don't have this problem with the Midlothian branch just the Red Oak. The reason I use the Red Oak location is because my job is in Red Oak. It's extremely annoying that I have to take up my entire lunch break to sit in the line & honestly today wasn't that busy with cars but it took forever!
Response from the ownerHi, Kevin. I'm truly sorry you continue to experience long wait times in the drive-thru at this location. To ensure I can forward your concerns to the appropriate team, please mention your review and Google username in an email to [email protected] (no account numbers). I appreciate your feedback and look forward to discussing this further. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social

Jaime Rodriguez1Never any help, I closed all my business accounts from there years ago, still have my personal and that is a joke. Should have closed my personal accounts a long time ago too. I needed a notary and the teller went to ask if one of the 3 bankers would take 30 seconds to do my notary and neither of them were able to. 15 years as a customer, can’t give me the time of day for a notary. Nothing like that personal feeling. 2.4 avg rating on google, goes to tell you there’s something really wrong with this bank and it’s management.
Response from the ownerThanks for your feedback on this location, Joshua. I'm very sorry we didn't meet your expectations this time, and I'd like to look into what happened. Please tell me more about your visit in an email to [email protected], and be sure to mention your review and Google username (no account numbers). Jesse Hostetler1Absolutely appalled at how I was treated with Wells Fargo today. Deposited a cashiers check on the 29 and it cleared. Woke up the 31 and have a major overdraft fee in my account. Called customer service to see what was going on and they told me they had to pull the check because I forgot to sign the back. Currently have rent, phone bill and my vehicle payment due on the first and they told me the check isn’t going to clear until the 8 of January. Asked them if there was a way for me to come in and sign the check and they told me they “no, we placed a hold to verify and will be available hopefully on the 8” Wont refund the overdraft fees they caused or even let me sign the check to get the funds I need. I am a small business and COVID-19 has been rough already and now I’m not going to be able to pay my bills Does anyone know how to help? Thanks I’m advance!

Christina Martinez1Today I needed a money order and to deposit it in an account (not mine). Since I don’t bank with Wells Fargo I was unaware the lobby is closed. I was told by the phone speaker to make the money order and the deposit I would need to go to the drive threw in the back. 45 minutes later it was finally my turn. I was then told they can not sell me a money order since I don’t bank with them. I was already upset after waiting that long then to be sent away! I go get a money order and come back now the line was coned off so they could close. I will not ever bank with Wells Fargo and will not go back to this location. Now I have to wait until Monday to make the deposit.
Response from the ownerI’m sorry we weren’t able to meet your expectations, Christina. Please email me at [email protected] with your Google username and any other concerns you may have, and I’ll do my best to address them (no account numbers). Be sure to mention you posted a review on a Wells Fargo location as well. Thanks. -AJ, Wells Fargo HL Social

Groovy The REALTOR1Tried to open a business account today and had all my documents PREPARED from the state approved. The personal banker had no clue of what documents needed from me, she kept going to the back and staying for a while..after she was supposed to be making copies. She comes back to tell me that my business is a virtual business address. Also that my personal account has to be the same name on my business account. WTH! It was such a awful and awkward experience. I have been banking with them since 2013. I will no longer have a personal account with WF. No longer interested in a business account. I will take my money to another bank. Don’t have to take this treatment, it doesn’t make any sense.

NERD BOI1I work at a local Carwash and usually make deposits in the Commercial Lane without any problems. Unfortunately this past Monday 12/30/19 I had this young Hispanic Female do my deposit in the Commercial Lane and it was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. She acted like she was mad that she had to work and didn't want to help me. Pretty much ignored me at the window and I even pressed the call button once I saw her glance over her shoulder and turn around real quick before i made eye contact. Get another job if you don't like what you do! She's the only one with bad service, but unfortunately it only takes one bad apple...

Danielle West1Had an appointment with Kierra to close my account. I understand we are taking precautions with the virus and the goal for everyone is to stay well. Her service was rushed and dismissive. She stated she wasn't aware multiple people would be in attendance because she only spoke to me over the phone. My husband and I are both on the account and unfortunately we can't leave a 2 year old home alone(we were the only members in the branch). It would be beneficial to explain expectations when visiting the branch during this time. Also, her pants had a hole in the front which appeared unprofessional.
Response from the ownerHi, Danielle. Your review caught my attention, and I will have the appropriate team look into what happened. If you could mention your review and Google username in an email to [email protected], I'll forward this matter for review as soon as I receive it (no account numbers). I apologize for the experience and look forward to discussing this further. -Nick, Wells Fargo HL Social

Josh Roman1Absolute worst bank I have EVER banked at. Been their custom fit over 10 years, multiple business accounts and personal accounts. They make being a “customer” so difficult I have pulled all my business abbounts and will also be closing my personal account as soon as I get back in town!! So much for small town banking looking out for the customer. Go elsewhere with your money, preferably somewhere that values your business instead of somewhere that gives you a hard time with a new policy every time you walk in the door!!!
