Wells Fargo Bank Reviews

Khristen Sellers1Opening up a business account was a tremendous hassle! I came in with LLC docs, Annual Report Updates, and proof of insurance! They turned in everything accept my proof of insurance to their document verification department! Then called and said everything I turned in wouldn’t stand to opening my account! However they had not even turned in the proof of insurance I gave them! The overall Wellsfargo document policy does not coincide with policies of the NC Secretary of State!

Debra Wright3I am a long term customer of Wells Fargo. I called to make an appointment with a notary and was told that they do not have this service at this time. Apparently, their current notary is moving to another branch and the Laurinburg branch is ill prepared as they do not have another notary in place. This is not a difficult service to fill. During this unique time in our history, people need to be able to rely on their community banks. Not only am I disappointed in the service and their lack of preparedness, but, I now have to seek out another business and pay for what is customarily a free service to active customers. The amount of money is insignificant, the point is that this is a benefit of being a good customer. WF is one of the largest banks in this country yet can't provide what is a typical service in the banking industry. Of course, this would not cause me to move my accounts, but, I am truly disappointed. -DW

Robert Decker5Not even from here, don't know anyone and this branch was the second best I've ever been to. Was very respected and accommodated and my issue was resolved promptly. Y'all must be some rude people in the community, I've been banking with Wells for over 10 yrs and if you read your contract, it states that there are fees such as $10 taken for lack of direct deposit <$500 month, lack of sustaining $1500 in account, or less that 10 card swipes that doesn't include ATM withdraws a month. Read before you sign and whine and balance your account, Banks don't do that, it's your responsibility regardless of whether you use a check book or not. DUH!

Brandon Ward3I bank with Wells Fargo for a few reasons. I like their ATMs. Best I've ever used. Their online features are really nice. Other than those two things I really don't like this bank. I've been denied several times for credit cards, auto loans, student loans, business credit ( even though 10-20k runs through my account a month.) When I bought my car 5 years ago I first went to Wells Fargo and they told me they would finance me and then didn't. So I went through BB&T no problems with low interest. Later at the Bank they couldn't believe I was denied and wanted me to try to refinance through them, only 2 months after they denied me and I had to go to another bank for the loan. I've had two WF employees nudge me to apply for a business line of credit and a business secured credit card. Denied for both. I opted to transfer 1,000 to a secured credit card. Worst part is they promise to call you the next day and don't even have the decency to do so. If another bank had the same level of ATM and online features I probably wouldn't bank with Wells Fargo at all. I actually switched a few years ago but couldn't close my WF account because the PNC ATM machine is a joke.

Kenneth1The worst customer service at the Laurinburg, NC Wells Fargo. I spent two days trying to call the office at the number provided on this google listing. I was told by one staff member in the bank that number was wrong. Yet when I sat down with the office manager he told me that the number was correct and he saw my number but did not answer it. As a customer I shouldn't have to spent one hour trying to reach bank. My suggestion is to never do business with them.

Roderick Newton5Each time that I enter The Facility, I'm always greeted with Welcome to Wells Fargo. I'm immediately asked what can I be helped with! I definitely do appreciate the hospitality at the Laurinburg location. Any financial concerns have always been addressed with knowledge, care and professionalism! I look forward to my next visit.

Michael Medlin1The experience sucks. They have screwed me out of so much money saying I didn't use my card and keep taking the money out of my account for not using it but when I would try to use my card it wouldn't work. I'll never do business with them again. They need to close the doors cause they only have one or two people worth keeping in there. And the manager needs firing because he doesn't won't to help nobody unless he knows you
