  Worst. Bank. Ever. Horrible customer service, they obviously don't care about their reputation taking advantage of their own customers over and over in order to see a profit. Today I went in to make a deposit into my new landlord's account. Nope! A bank that doesn't accept cash deposits--gee, how convenient. Not only that, but the teller, Ashley Styes, (pic attached) was so unnecessarily rude about it, just kept saying "no"... never offered me an "I can't because _____" or "I wish I could help but _____". I closed the conversation by saying, "and that's why I don't bank here". Did she use the opportunity to try to reverse my bad experience? Nope. She replied all snotty, "Okay!". Unbelievable that they don't train their reps on the front line dealing with customers how to properly handle situations where the answer is no. It wasn't that she couldn't help me, it's that she didn't care. It's so easy just to care. Seems human nature, really. At least the manager followed me outside and tried to smooth things over. She agreed with me that Ashley Styes could have handled the situation in a number of more appropriate ways. So glad I bank at Umpqua!

  Why when I go into your branch, I'm told I need to go online for help or call th we 1800 number? What's the point of your bank and tellers!

  They don't answer their phone but expect a reservation. The banker wouldn't even try to look at the paper work that I had with me . Poor service poor ability by the banker.

  Have banked here and used this local branch for about 5 years. I am very pleased with the time they take to make sure you are satisfied. I have never had any problems.

  People are nice and the line wasn't too long! Teller has been there for close to 20 years!

  Wanted to deposit a check but the doors would not open into the bank. No explanation as to why.
