  Michele Walker made all of our house dreams come true. We weren't even looking or planning on buying when our dream home went up for sale. She worked her magic to get us qualified, right in the middle of Halloween festivities no less, when we needed our pre-qual "yesterday!" We went from not even looking for a new house, to placing an offer on our dream home, having our offer accepted in this crazy market, and then closing in 30 days. Thank you so much for working tirelessly on our loan file, for all of those late night calls, and helping us on this wild ride Michele, Ed, Jill and Crystal. You made our experience so easy and smooth and we can't say thank you enough!!!

  I recently bought a house using Wallick & Volk and could not be more happy! My loan originator was Lauren Gullotta and she exceeded all of my expectations. She helped me get in touch with the right people to make this whole thing less stressful. I WILL be going back to Lauren at Wallick & Volk for all of my future needs, assuming she'll have me!

  I haven't closed on my home yet - close! Just waiting for appraisal. However, I did feel confident enough to write this review no matter what happens before closing. I worked with Stephanie (loan originator) and Trece (loan processor) and I cannot thank them enough. I have worked with 3 loan companies prior and the lack of communication and unwillingness to understand my situation put me in a bad mental place. I hesitated to work with WV but my agent convinced me to give them a try. If everything goes well they probably will save me 200K+ in interest over the next 30 years - and if something bad happens before the house closes and I can't get it, I would still give them 100 stars - I have never experienced such personal experience, such wonderful customer service - I really doubt that they are doing it for the money, because given my situation and my daily 30+ stress text messages, it's not worth what they are charging me. I will always choose to work with Stephanie and Trace in the future even if their interest rate is not the best I can find, only because they turn this stressful event into an encouraging adventure. I'm writing this review thinking how to thank them, but anything I can come up with is just insulting compared to how much work they have done for me. I will keep thinking! To Wallick & Volk manager: you are lucky to have Stephanie and Trace on your team!

  I had the recent pleasure working with Michele and Karen to purchase my new home. I was and still am amazed at how wonderful these ladies are and how easy this whole transaction was. This in the 6th home I have purchased and by far this purchase was the easiest. Michele and Karen were not only very professional but they treated me with respect and dignity. Throughout the entire process there were no surprises, everything was 100% transparent. If you are looking to purchase your first or next home, I highly recommend calling Michele and Karen, especially if you expect an amazing experience! Thank you ladies, your truly are AMAZING!!!

  I couldn’t have found anyone as honest and professional as Blanca Chapa, she was helpful, and fast responsive to any calls or questions I had, her team was one of the most positive and people friendly. I loved the fact that they are Bilingual. I have owned my house a little over 3 weeks now and I could say they did all of what was needed for MY best interest. I Would recommend her and her team to ANYONE!!

  I was a first-time home buyer in April 2016 -- a time when interest rates on mortgages were historically low. I had a good credit score in 770's. My real estate agent, whom I trusted, suggested Regina Whalen of Wallick and Volk. I didn't know so many things (eg, that different mortgage lenders offer different rates, they all have different closing costs, etc.) and Regina Whalen took advantage of my ignorance. Always calling from her drive to Anthem in the car (and not looking at the closing cost document), she explained the closing costs in convoluted ways that never really make sense. At first the closing costs were $3000 then $5000, then eventually $7000 for a 2-bdrm, 1000 sq ft townhome. They kept increasing, even when she assured me in the beginning that the costs would not exceed $4000. Wallick and Volk charge $800 in writing fees and $800 in processing fees among so many other costs -- little did I know how ridiculous that amount is. Walllick and Volk offered me 4.2% interest rate for a 30-year. As mentioned above, interest rates were averaging 3.7% for a 30-year in April 2016 and for someone with a credit score as high as mine, I should have received close to 3.5%. When all of this finally dawned on me (the high closing costs, the higher than average interest rate, the fact that the closing costs kept increasing), it was too late and I had only a few days to close. It was too late to change lenders, but Stephanie Boughton at Academy Mortgage took the time to help me, guide me, and advise me on my situation even though I wasn't her client. Wallick and Volk and specifically Regina Whalen are only concerned about making money. (They sold my mortgage 3 days after my closing date.) I recommend Stephanie Boughton.
