  I have a loan with VSECU and in order to have a loan with them you need to open a savings account too because thats the only way you can pay your loan off......So I put some of my savings on that account to make the payments. Now I want to transfer some of my savings back to my regular account but nope you can't do that, you need to open an additional checking account, which would be a third account, which I don't need, to transfer my money first to the checking account before I can transfer it back to my regular account...... come on its 2019, why does it have to be so difficult????

  Hi Wilma, we are sorry for the confusion! While you do need a savings account to be a member of VSECU, it is possible to pay off your loan with an external account and withdraw money from your savings account to deposit elsewhere.   I can't wait to close my account on here. Their website says one thing but they have always done something different to my accounts. When I tried to talk about it to an employee they didn't let me talk. They talked over me every time I tried to explain what was happening - that has happened to me more than once in different branches. They either need to update their website or be more clear.

  I like that VSECU is a local bank but they need instant Debit card reporting to the app. Things that I spend on Thursday usually don't show up on my account balance until Monday. This is frustrating!

  Terrible. Do not waste your time or money with VSECU or any associated businesses.

  Best Bank Ever. Helpful, fast and friendly. Get your money out of the big banks (you know, the ones that helped crash the economy in 2008). Credit Unions are the way to go to keep your money local and accountable.

  I have had an account with them for over ten years. The service and fees are better than the bank that I was using.
