  Note: Manager made good on my complaint. My issue was resolved, I don't think I'm coming back, but they helped. Original: I asked to unscrew the head off a yard trimmer, to make sure my blade would fit it. Get a: No, you have to buy it, then you can.... Now that's a bad policy, other pawn shops, no problem. So i offer to put down a 100% deposit, cuz how the heck am i gonna break a screw.... still refuse. policy is policy, fine. but they were really scummy and rude about it, not the front desk types either. it was a manager named jose and an a. manager named magda. absolute garbage customer service. gun selection was mediocre and overpriced. this place just isn't where you should be going.

  They talking about they don't take Samsung TVs only smart TVs and didn't even look at it or anything they got bad service they told me they don't take it away before I even walk in y'all some scams

  This pawn shop on Gessner @ Long Point has a nice selection of rifles and pistols. You will also find jewelry, audio components and power tools/equipment.

  Price gouging during this situation with the c19 virus I came in yesterday to sell my tools due to losing my job because Of the virus and was offered 60 for 180 dollars worth of tool told the employee that I will come back I wanted to ask my girlfriend was this a good deal ... despite the very low offer from this store I went back the next day and the store offered me $25 for the same tools! If your going though a financial situation during this virus don’t go here !!!! Someone needs to call the news..

  We came here for tools the same day I had a medical procedure. I told the kid that it was the last of our money I was using to make Christmas gifts bc I'm sick, broke and can't work. He cut me a deal and I was intending to use them from now on bc of "the deal" he was cutting us. $50 for two items. One a brad nailer which he sold me for $20. It is(come to find out)at harbor freight BRAND NEW for $25. Also, a compressor. I couldn't use them both the day I purchased them and no one told me if they don't work to come back the same day. So....I'm stuck with two broken items and no money left to help make gifts for Christmas. Wow!! They must really care for their customers...I even had on a hospital band still. Sad, very sad. I don't know what to do now. There was no way for me to use them the same day, I just left the hospital and when I went in it was the only time I had to shop for these items. Thanks Value + .

  I shop at their Sister store Cash America and they at Cash America are friendly and nice. I’ve bought a lot of items there. This place Valu Pawn is awful. Very rude people working there and awful customer service. 2 thumbs down 👎👎 will not ever return here !!

  Sure their willing to give you a loan on anything but beware!!! I needed some cash fast so I pawned my 14 k white diamond wedding band I made several payments to make sure I get it back. On the day we were ready to purchase the ring back we were told that someone put it on layaway and if they don't come back to purchase the ring then we could by it back. And since I lost my pawn agreement I couldn't prove they put the ring on sale while it was still on loan. We argued and argued they New they messed up they have the computers with all the info right in front of them, but their arguement "If I don't have pawn agreementtheirs no proof of when the payments were due. Well would you believe low and behold I was doing spring cleaning and found the pawn agreement. The last day of grace is 06/05/15, the ring was put on display for purchase 3/6/15, mind you after I made a partial payment to keep the ring on loan. The ring was purchased 05/29/15 I called the manager and he snickered at me and told me this incident happened 2 years ago and not much can be done!!!! If I got to go to small claims court I am prepared. We're going back to value pawn Saturday to talk to other manager, show him the pawn slip, and see what they come up with. It's the principal of the matter and I lost a 2,500 sentimental item, that should not have happend! So beware!!! Also if anyone has any advice on how to handle this situation please let me know!

  These guys are great. Always fair. Avoid the other 2 pawn shops in the area. Plus, the most beautiful woman in Spring Branch works here.

  Worst pawn shop I have ever been to hands down. I recommend you don't waste your time here there are better shops right down the street that offer more and explain everything thoroughly. Every time I came in something was wrong with picking up my things.
