  I just have to share my amazing customer service experience with Cathy Pope the branch manager of Collinsville... Over the weekend I had a roofing emergency..... I have been quarantining since March 1st... I had no idea that everything was closed all Bank lobbies are closed and I needed to get at my IRA.. my emergency crews were at my house from North Carolina waiting for their money.. that is when Cathy Pope came to my rescue.. she immediately prioritized an appointment for me ... Had all of the paperwork ready and waiting for me at the drive-thru which was amazing they followed all covid-19 protocols... As a senior citizen I so appreciated that they took the time to make sure all their customers were protected. Cathy... Please know that you saved the day I was in the middle of a major mess... And you alleviated 99% of my stress!! Please note that for every letter of praise you get there's a thousand more out there that didn't have a chance to write a letter... Just know you are so appreciated!! being military my whole life I've lived around the world but I choose Henry county to call home... Because of people like you Cathy Pope... I am with Valley Star where I'm an actual person and not a customer number 🤗 Cathy God Bless you and all of your wonderful employees.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND GOD BLESS US ALL.. KEEP US SAFE! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  Very SLOW customer service! Every month when I call in to make a payment it’s at least a 30-minute wait time. Going to pay off my car loan just to avoid the hassle..

  Worst service I have received from a bank in my life and that really surprised me. I expected better customer service in general. If a company requests payment, and its granted and then the same company requests same payment a second time the very next day (but there's no money in the account) shouldn't you notify the account holder? Instead they returned payment and charged me a fee, so I was charged for someone else's wrong doing. I'm constantly being charged $35 fees and it's a little ridiculous. So fed up with this bank and then when I finally speak to someone on the phone I get attitude. I'm actually in tears from how upset I am with this bank. Unbelievable.

  Poor customer service ever sinse they changed the name to valley star.. beam a member over 10 years and been watching it slowly getting to the point that I had to close my accounts and moved on...

  I just don't appreciate everything (website, main doors) stating the lobby opens at 9 on Saturday, even though everytime I come by, the only thing open is the drive thru.

  Megan, we apologize for the confusion! The website has our hours listed correctly, as do the lobby doors. On Saturdays, certain branch locations offer drive-thru hours only; all lobbies are closed. Visit valleystar.org for this information. We truly do value your business!
