Sunshine Stormy5The vacuum tubes are gone but the employees are still the same helpful and cheerful people as usual! The new location is clean and much brighter than the old one. My only wish is that there was plants/foam or dividers to deaden some of the sound inside as the tellers can be a little hard to hear if there is conversation going on behind (though you can turn the volume up which is awesome!) All in all love the move and still love doing banking with VFCU (:

Jonathan Miller3I've been a member of Valley First for several decades. The staff are ALWAYS very pleasant and helpful. The Vintage Faire location recently moved which doesn't seem to have been a thought out plan. Remote tellers on a video screen is anything BUT customer service. The employees at the branch can't help you with taking a simple deposit and the two auto-mated remote teller machines always seem to have a long line waiting for your turn. Gone are the days of Valley First being my #1 recommendation.
Response from the ownerThanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. New technology does take time to get used to for everyone. Ultimately we'll start to see shorter wait times as the machines actually help us serve members no matter which location they go to. We appreciate your membership and your patience while we make this transition!

Steve Collyer325 Year member. Like any bank, they have benefits and drawbacks. Expect great rates on auto loans and other associated offerings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Like most credit unions they are generally slow and archaic when it applies to underwriters, credit card approvals, offerings, technology, and home loans. They sub most of this stuff out and act as the middle man, which makes them less competitive and efficient. In summary, it's a decent, low fee bank. Just don't expect much else. Even phone calls arr generally on hold for 20 min. Enjoy.

Miguel Letona1Not a good place to go for personal loans deny you for ridiculous reasons even if you make well over the amount asking in 2 months. Very disappointed because I got approved for a credit card for the same amount that I asked valley first. So beware don’t ding your credits with these clowns

Team ING5Great experience re-opening an old account and one extra savings. They made the competition look bad as valley first was simple and not delayed. Golden1 took two appointments and multiple days to even try and compare. However the customer service made me choose Valley First over Golden1.

Southida Banos1I had a car loan that was opened. The loan was paid off. They sent me a letter that there was an amount of $25.00 in the account. I was not aware that after the loan was paid off I had to go into a branch to close the account. I called Valley First CU and they didn’t mention anything about a balance in the account. When the loan was paid off they should have closed the account. They are full of it! They just want to make a couple of dollars from the people. Now I have a negative in the account that I was not aware of. The employees here are not professional and do not know what they are doing. Not a good experience at all. You do not want to deal with a Credit Union like this one.

Jeremy Hellstrom1We went to set up a checking account and our two year old daughter needed to use the restroom. They refused to let her use their restroom and suggested we go to the mall. And this was coming from the manager. Needless to say our daughter had an accident in the branch. We promptly closed our account and went to another credit union. We'll have nothing to do with this financial institution.
