  I've had U. S. Alliance since they were West Haven Fed. Credit Union. They were excellent. Then they were taken over & they are still good. The only thing is there is only 1 branch in Ct. & the 1 atm. Although a few other C.U.s honor the card. So it's up to u how that would work for u ?

  Kudos to star employee Loren (New Haven, CT) for helping me coordinate a last minute wire transfer to correct an issue caused by my other bank. I was very impressed with Loren and would highly recommend this bank as a result.

  Excellent service went to use the ATM machine and no money came out but it deducted from my account so I went in the west haven branch where this wonderful lady by the name of myah was so much help she made it her priority to make sure I got my refund and thanks to her I got my money back the next day thank you Myah

  So I couldn't use my ATM card to do any transactions. I first called the number on the back of the card and got the response of "oh I don't see any problems with your card and your account isn't locked. Please go into a branch or call member services." I went into a branch and they basically told me the same thing but kept insisting that there wasn't a problem with my account. I finally call member services to be told oh you were late on your credit card payment so all of your accounts have been locked. Wait, I made the payment over a week ago and my accounts are still locked. So now I'm being told yeah you did but I can't help you, you have to call back at 8:30. Time to have all my money going to my other account. The only reason I had this account was because I got paid on Wednesday instead of Friday.

  I went to cash a check and they said the check couldnt be cashed i could not get my money. Not helpful at all

  I wouldn’t recommend trying to deposit your money at their ATM . The employees seem nice at first but gives false information. I went into their office during opening hours to see if they could help me with their ATM problems because the machine was unable to deposit nor return the cash I put into the machine, but the employee was too quick to say , if you fill out this form you’ll get your money at the end of the day. It took them 10 days to even call back. That’s just outrageous!!!
