  This rating is to replace a previous rating. My gripe is in the past. USAA returned to the previous search engine for used cars. Now I can be specific about the make/model, years and location of the vehicles that are of interest to me. Been a USAA member since 1987. I am very happy with USAA. Thank you.

  They have been called the "VA of finance and insurance". Horrible experience. Never realpy know a company until you need customer serice. I had my first accident and it has been nothing but a hassle. I had to report them to CT department of insurance, as they do not want to provide service. They do not respond to voicemails, do not communicate and look for loop holes to not pay. They stated I did not mitigate damages, despite the fact that I brought it to the shop immediately. They act in bad faith and I would not recommend them to anyone. Horrible service, horrible people, and they have caused more aggreviation, stress and frustration during a sensitive time as it was. It was like pouring salt on he wounds. Their manager even started throwing accusations at me andat one point, I had to hang up because he conversation was very hostile. Overall, hey didn't respond to multiple voicemails, horrible with communication, looked for loop hole, and failed the customer service test. I have four insurance policies with them and will make sure to pull them all and warn as many people as possible.

  Been a usaa member for 6 years now. And i have never been disappointed! The customer service is fantastic and u dont get put on hold for hours upon hours and they answer all your questions and are very friendly working with you if u run into a problem. I am very happy to have USAA insurance on my side

  I'm very happy with my auto, renters, personal property and Auto loan using USAA. Last night I broke my car window and in a 5 minute phone call I had an appointment for this morning for it to be replaced. Next I'm going to look into their banking. Thank you USAA

  Usually customer service is wonderful but the bank itself limits me from making online transactions from my local bank to USAA because of an old bankruptcy. So if I need to transfer money without talking to someone after hours to pay a bill it's impossible.

  Extremely dissapointed with USAA. Used to love this bank/insuror but now i want nothing more than to break away. Service is horrible, lack of information. Extremely inconvenient especially with having no offices to go to. My APR on car is 2x-3x higher than what im switching over to cause they wont work something out for me. Bill Payments do not process between thurs - sunday so you have to be careful and watch account closely. I can understand friday but Thurs really ? I have auto insurance, loan and banking with them. Our service members are just another dollar sign for them. I've hit my final straw with their insurance people today. Consider your options. You can do better people. (MY PERSONAL OPINION)

  Terrible service. Their phone number doesn't connect you to their office, it just redirects you to other USAA workers in random states. When you show up to their office, they don't know how to help you. Probably because they don't interact with customers over the phone and therefore have an even harder time interacting in person.

  I don’t freaking understand how my insurance keeps going up. I call to ask for some reasonable explanation to this and they always come up with a BS excuse. USAA used to be good. Now it’s completely garbage.

  This company is by far one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Their service and dedication to excellence in everything they do is unmatchable. I've been with them for 10+ years and will be here for life. Only thing I wish is that they had more branches at least 1 in every major city.

  Wish I would have chosen another company for my renters insurance. Did not cover even 1/4 of what I pay for and add clauses in concerning your specific issue AFTER THE FACT of the contract and even multiple verbal conversations. Go somewhere else.
