  As a first-time home buyer and kinda feel like fate brought Uptown Funding and I together! A house I was looking at was being funded by Uptown and I decided to give them a shot and QUICKLY switched over them after speaking with Dana. She was professional, kind, responsive and always on the ball. She got me the best rate, drastically reducing my monthly payments in comparison to the other company I had been working with. Then I was introduced to Amie Stuteville for the underwriting process! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amie. Most people dread this part of the process, there is SO MUCH paperwork and back and forth, but Amie made it such a positive experience. She was SO nice and easy to with with, responded immediately every single time I had a question or needed anything. I knew I had the best team possible working for me and would highly recommend them. Thank you so much, Dana and Amie!!

  We had a very good experience with Uptown Funding. The biggest positive is that Steve and Dana have the hearts of a teacher. Although we asked for a specific type of loan product, they showed us some others. Not trying to sell those products, they explained the pluses and minuses of those products, as well as those of the product we chose. Uptown kept us informed of the various milestones. The only negative was that, when it came time for closing, there were some delays from the underwriter. It was at this point that I would have liked to have some hand holding, but it was then when it was hardest to get in touch with the staff. Hopefully because they were pushing the underwriter! Thus, I would give Uptown 4.5/5, but that's not an option. If I were to refinance or move again, I would gladly do business with Uptown again.

  Steve, Shawn and Dana are as professional as they come. some people say getting the approved for a house is the scariest part of buying a home. At Uptown funding it was smooth as silk, Got approved, found the house and they structured the loan so i didn't have to pay PMI. Couldn't be any more happier than the service we received from them.
