      Bank make up the rules and procedures based on who walks in the door . Bank teller was rude and disrespectful worst bank yet

      This credit union is superb. They took a chance on me over 11 years ago when no one else would because I had less than desirable credit. Approximately 6 months after opening my first lone with them I closed all my accounts at a chain bank and have done business exclusively with Upstate Federal Credit Union because of the service I received. The Honea Path branch manager (Patsy Gambrell) is one of the best people you’ll ever encounter to do business with. I’ve sent all my family members to upstate FCU to open accounts and anyone I encounter that needs a bank account or loan. Over the years i can think of 15 people I’ve referred to this credit union. I myself have had many loans through them since my first. They will give you a competitive rate every time. In regards to the checking accounts I love the fact that it’s 100% free with access to online banking and speaking to someone. I use their bill pay for just about everything and never need to mail a check to anyone. To sum it up if you’re on the fence about whether or not to do business with upstate federal I would make the jump and not look back. I can honestly say in the many years of doing business with them I have only had 1 negative experience about 2 years ago while trying to get a loan. I expressed my concern to Patsy the branch manager and she handled the situation with the Ioan officer i was dealing with.(fortunately I’ve never seen her again and don’t care if I ever do, not sure if she transferred to another branch or is no longer with them but either way glad I don’t have to deal with her). Thank you Patsy and Upstate FCU Honea Path for all you do.
