Let me share how pathetic this bank is. So it is Saturday February the 19th. Both my debit cards have been blocked so I have 0 access to any of my money. I contacted the bank for the last 2 days to have the problem resolved. Guess who still doesn't have access to my money. I spoke with a manager about the issues and like every other trash employee it's "we have e everything fixed and we apologize for the inconvenience" Now I have the entire weekend with 0 funds when there is more than enough sitting in the bank! DO NOT USE THIS BANK! IT IS THE BIGGEST SCAM OF WORTHLESS PEOPLE THAT YOU COULD EVER WORK WITH!

      Response from the owner

If you do not open your drive thru at 9 on Saturdays, please for the love of God update your hours Some of us work nights and have to take hours out of our sleep schedules to come make a payment. I shouldn't have to wait 10-20 minutes in your parking lot to give up on making a payment that day Very unprofessional

      Response from the owner

Hi Elizabeth, all United braches are closed Saturday, October 9-Monday, October 11 for system upgrades. This was updated on our holiday hours, and should have been visible to you on Google. We apologize that the hours were not visable to you. We made our best effort to communicate this message to our members in the past weeks, and again apologize if those messages were not received. We are so grateful for Katie Menasco our Member Service advisor! She has superb customer service and will make sure that everything is perfect during any process you may have with United Federal Credit Union! Do not handle anything online if you are able to go in and see Katie! We were extremely frustrated dealing with our online rep and so were the other partners involved. Our online rep would not return calls or emails and gave the dealerships the run around with no explanations. Katie took over and saved the day! She was able calm the dealership reps by effectively communicating with them! She went above and beyond to ensure that everyone’s needs were met!!! We are now happy clients and very thankful for her!!!

      Response from the owner

Thank you for your feedback Annie! We're happy to hear Katie was such a help to you! We'd love to hear more about your digital experience. Please feel free to send us an email with more details at [email protected]. Thank you for choosing United!

I was very happy with this bank until I took out a loan from another source. About a week later, I went into the bank for assistance and two of the employees saw the loan in my account. After I left the bank, I received a call from the fraud department wanting to know where I got the money from. I told them it was a loan and from what company. They locked my account. I was required to bring in my loan papers to prove I wasn't a criminal. It was the first of the month and I had payments scheduled. I could not make my payments and some payments that I had made were then denied by the bank. It took a full month to get my finances back in order and I had to pay several hundred dollars in late fees, etc. I expected my bank to take care of me but they stabbed me in the back and cost me money and treated me like a criminal. I don't trust them any more. I have never been treated so shabbily by any business in my life.

If I could rate United Federal Credit Union less than one star, I would. These people are rude and definitely NOT as customer-centered as they claim to be.

Can't seem to ever get ahold of anyone over the phone ... send the call to a corporate number and all you have as choices is an automated system very unfortunate
