cheap251I will try to make this a long story short as much as I can. I have no knowledge of who runs their ATMs but if you have an ATM that is charging a transaction fee it HAS TO BE DISCLOSED ON THE SCREEN BEFORE TRANSACTION. That is the LAW. Up until very recently if you were using a teachers credit union debit card it was charging you a two dollar fee without that disclosure notice. That is AGAINST THE LAW. I used their ATM to withdraw funds about three wks ago. It let me go through the process without ever declaring that there would be a two dollar fee. I looked at the history of my transactions on my TCU account and there was a two dollar fee. Again, that is against the law. The day after this happened I informed one of their employees and she thanked me for letting her know and said that it would be looked into. I came back a week later and used their ATM and the same thing happened. I had a discussion with another employee that had an office cubicle and it didn’t go so well. It was fine until she got frustrated because I informed her it was very deceptive to do this and wanting to know who was in control of their ATM. It was nothing against her. She just works there. But the company she works for has a machine that was doing something illegal. She eventually copped an attitude saying that I had an attitude. She just got tired of dealing with it. Apparently in her mind it was my fault that their machines were in violation of the law. I wound up calling their customer service number and they eventually took care of the situation but in the meantime how many people got ripped off to the tune of two dollars a transaction? It adds up. When you own a financial institution you have to have your I’s dotted and your T‘s crossed..... this was hugely unprofessional and illegal. Just glad that I am not a member of this sketchy operation.

Aaron Piper5I’m in the process of buying a house and I needed bank account activities print offs. I was going to have someone go pick them up for me since I was at work.. they told me I’m not allowed to authorize someone to pick them up over the phone even if I answer my security questions... it was frustrating but it provides me with peace of mind that they won’t let just anyone claiming to be me get my bank information! Definitely a great place!
Response from the ownerJust trying to keep your information and accounts safe, Aaron. Thanks for understanding and all your support!
