  Bought a coin there that I thought looked cool. I asked if the coin was a real silver and was told it was. When I got home I checked the coin and found out it was fake. I went back to get my money back. The owner argued with me after a while but confirmed it was fake. I told him it’s illegal to sell fake coins. He said I should have known it was fake and he wasn’t going to give me my money back but after I threatened to call the police since he knowingly sold a fake coin he told me I could pick some other real coins instead. Never will go back. Well, this happened about 2 years ago. The other day I was by there and still remembered my bad experience and I wanted to share.

  I have been going to Union pawn shop for a few years now they are respectful kind and courteous with their customers if you call them and let them know that you need more time they work with you I have never had any problems or issues with them Best pawn shop in town.

  One of the most unprofessional, ghetto pawn shops that I’ve ever been to. I brought in a $800 laptop with a crack on the shell, and this guy said he couldn’t take it. Not worth the time to even drive here.

  The owner is not a decent human being, and he’s not from the neighborhood. Preying on people’s misfortune during a pandemic is a special kind of ugly. There are nicer better stocked pawn shops that are also locally owned all over East LA. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

  Friendly staff. Eager to help and very reasonable. When I take my expensive guitars there I know they're safe. I highly recommend Union Pawn for any of your borrowing needs.

  I would give 0 stars. Went in to buy a charm for my necklace & i asked the owner a simple question (how much the charm weighed) he got aggressive for no reason and ignored the question. I been to pawn shops before, never met someone so rude. Clearly not trustworthy people to buy from/do business with. Do yourself a favor don't bother coming here !

  This place will rip you off if you don't know the value of you jewelry not only that the owner is very disrespectful. I understand if you really need money or don't have transportation to go anywhere else. If you want the best offer for your items go to 186 S Alvarado St, Los Angeles, CA 90057. They will give you more money then these guys hands down.

  It's hard to find great customer service nowadays. But my experience at this pawnshop was the best. They were very straight forward and were honest. I will definitely be coming back to this pawnshop. And will definitely reccomend this pawnshop to all my friends and family. If you are need of quick emergency cash or just cash in general stop by and pay them a visit. Shoutout to Mike. He is the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time). I recommend you to go there when hes working.

  I always come here when I need quick cash, have been for years since its in my neighborhood. the owner and employees are always helpful, fast service, they offer the highest prices Ive seen in the downtown area and they will work with you to help you out. Five stars, definitely recommend this pawn shop.
