U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

Leigh Christy5I have been banking with the Parker Rd./Iliff branch in Aurora, CO for several years. The manager actually stopped a fraudulent transaction for me. She saved me a couple thousand dollars! Yes, they seem to be understaffed at the drive-thru but the attention they pay me is worth it. They know me as a good customer!

Nataliya Pankeyeva1People are not treated as humans at that branch, but as walking wallets. No flexibility, no problem-solving, no respect - just robots that stick to their mantra that every question is answered by appointment only. The only real human there who listens and responds to your needs is Yusef - he is really helpful. The much better branch is on Havana and Mississippi - they will answer your questions, acknowledge your presence, help you once available (not rigidly by-appointment-only), and not pretend like you are not there. Go to that branch if you want human help; otherwise, ask for Yusef to avoid dealing with robots.

Natalia P.1If you want your question answered/problem solved, don't go to that location. I have been a US Bank customer for 15 years, and I've never seen such poor customer-service in any brach in Colorado. America is (justly) notorious for putting money over people, and this brach is the epitome of such disregard and inadequacy.

Estela Conchas1I have never been to such a horrible branch. I waited in the drive-thru because “everyone was busy helping other customers”. I was patient and when the tube finally came down I sent it back with my withdrawal slip and after waiting for another 10 minutes I had to ring the service button to get done with my transaction because no one was paying attention. I then had to wait another 10 minutes to get my belongings back. A $10 withdrawal should not have taken 30 minutes. The staff needs to learn new customer service skills and to pay attention to their drive up.
Response from the ownerHello Estela, I understand why you are frustrated with your recent visit to the Parker branch. You shouldn't ever have to wait so long for help after providing your ID and a withdrawal slip to the tellers. We would like the chance to talk with you further about your experience and offer our help in any way we can. Please email your phone number and reference #4117 to us at [email protected] and we'll call you in 24-48 business hours. Thank you. ^Kim

Joan Garcia-Eaton1I arrived at the Drive-up Teller at 3:40. Cars in front of me were being helped. I pull-up and rang the bell for 30 minutes. Cars are behind me. A US Bank employee walks by and says Bank Closes at 4:00. The system shuts down so they can't hear the bell ringing. He points to a flyer that is too high to read and is wrapped around the post. Apparently, I arrived at the Drive-up Teller after 4:00. What kind of Customer Service is this? I arrived before closing time, why shouldn't I be helped? How about posting the closing time on a flat surface, closer to where a person in a car can read it or put a message on the screen saying closed? I typically don't bank at US Bank but my deceased Dad did so I have too but after this last Check gets cashed I will never bank at US Bank. Even Dad's Lawyer said US Bank was terrible. One Star is too good for US Bank.
Response from the ownerHello Joan. We are sorry to see that this was your experience when visiting. We would like to speak with you about the visit and offer our assistance. Jeff Post1Hit or miss at this location. Mostly very nice. But the one every 5 years experience takes the cake with this branch. Really could easily be 4 stars, knocking 1 star for frequent wait lines, due to the tellers. They are phenomenal. Bankers and managers have been rude and condescending. Both incidences were for a business deposit, they sell you on how business' get special rapid service, only to be told you'll have to wait or the business "line" cannot accept cash due to training or some nonsense like that. While three tellers handle consumer accounts in line after you. Unacceptable. I'm NOT saying I'm more important due to a business account but that I should be taken in the order I arrived at the very least even when there's a wait at the commercial line. That line is supposed to hasten my stay but thus far has only made me wait more than the consumer line. My experience went something like this. I arrived to this location. They recently added a "commercial" line. Since I have a commercial account, I got in that line. I was the only person in that line. There was one person in the consumer line that was there before me. The commercial teller was quite busy with what appeared to be a large change deposit. It was going to take a few minutes. I prepared myself for that wait. While I was waiting a banker approached me and told me that not only did I need to wait on the previous customer but that that teller had an incoming appointment that I would also have to wait for. I was quite taken aback when he just didn't move me to the consumer line. Two customers were helped in the consumer line while I argued with the banker about how unreasonable this was. Finally after some unpleasant conversation with this 'professional' I was taken by a consumer teller, who had helped me before, and I was able to make my deposit. I also needed some information about my account and when I questioned the teller, who was as helpful as he could be, couldn't tell me why my service charges has doubled plus in recent months. Not a clue how it worked. He tried looking at my account for a few minutes and looked beleaguered. I felt sorry for him as he was caught in my negative energy and not knowing how to answer my question. I realized this was getting nowhere and thanked the teller then left. I went to call customer service but it's nearly impossible to find a phone number on the website. When I did and called I was immediately given the "Menu". After just pressing "0" I was prompted to a recording letting me know my wait would be no longer than 15 minutes. I hung up. So here I am to tell the World to avoid this location. It's mismanaged and has been for years. They should put Susan in charge as she seems to know what's going on and has been extremely helpful. knowledgable, and polite for what seems at least 10 years at this branch. This is supposed to be a professional organization dealing in people's money. I've seen more professionalism in failing third world countries' banks. US Bank is good to go, just not this branch/location.
Response from the ownerWow, Jeff, I am terribly sorry to hear about how you were treated when you went into the branch. I totally agree with you. You should be helped based off of when you stepped into the branch and not the need. We would really like to try and rectify the issue(s) at hand. If you would like to talk further about your dissatisfaction, please send your email directly to [email protected] and we will contact you within 24-48 business hours. We really hope to hear from you, hope you have a great rest of the day. ^Chris

Dianne Basso1I realize there is a need for distancing and limited access to the bank. However, after several visits to the drive through, none of which took less than 2 hours, I will not do this again. Once in the drive through one cannot escape if the cars ahead are taking a long time. If people are taking time to complete deposit/withdrawal slips perhaps a box could be stationed at the entrance to the drive through to save time. I plan to close my account as soon as possible.
Response from the ownerHello Dianne, we apologize that your branch visits are taking so long. It isn’t our intention to take up our customers time. We’d hate to lose your business because of this. If you’d like to discuss the situation in more detail, please send us an email to [email protected] detailing the experience you had. In your email, please include your phone number and reference number 5999. We'll give you a call within two business days. Look forward to hearing from you. ^Heather
