      Worst BANK EVER Dont open a commercial account and expect to go through the commercial lane because that will NEVER HAPPEN! Worst service EVER. Safer to keep your money under your mattress... p.s this is the Homewood location and it's Jennifer and Joe that are THE WORST

      Don’t go here. Take the extra time and go down the street to the Chicago Heights location. Homewood is the only branch that won’t cash a payroll check if you get it a day or so before the date that is on the check. The branch manager was also rude about it both times. When I called US Bank’s customer service the young man as well as his manager said legally yes they can as long as your name is on the check and it’s not old. When I went and told the Homewood branch’s staff they’re response was “well he works in customer service so he wouldn’t know anyways”, as if it’s not customer service and they don’t work for the same company. Mind you every other US bank allows me to cash the check the day I receive it which is typically a day before. So, now I just stick to the Chicago heights branch where they are friendly and have respect.

      I recently moved back to the area from California. I’ve cashed a check from a new job of mine here before but today 1-14-2019 around 10a.m I was refused service in cashing my check after explaining I’ve already went through the issue of only having one form of picture ID and was allowed to cash my check. I find the inconsistency in service to be extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. I hope you in the future I hope to experience consistency in what the “policies” which this branch.
