Geoffrey Petersen1Update: Our accounts were closed without an explanation. They give you an 800 number to call but no one answers at that number. The bank staff won’t tell you anything and US Bank just can’t seem to be honest with us about it. We had checking, savings, and a credit card. They said we can continue to use the credit card if we liked, I assume because they make money on that. One of the worst experiences I have had with a bank. I highly recommend TLC. They are much more friendly and professional and they appreciate your business. Original 5 star review: Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I always get a greeting as I walk in and a goodbye on my way out. Highly recommend.

Kristin Ricks1DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!! I opened up an account with US Bank to have my banking more local than my previous bank. When I opened my account I WAS NOT told about the unrealistic 30 day waiting period where they would essentially hold ALL of my money. VERY ANGRY. DO NOT BANK HERE UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY!!!!!! OH AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS, NOT FOR ME BECAUSE NOW I CAN'T VISIT FAMILY FOR THE HOLIDAYS BECAUSE I HAVE NO MONEY!

Gwendolyn Rogers5My husband died unexpectedly in September, I went to the US Bank branch in Lincoln City to manage our accounts . The branch manager Peter was very helpful getting things changed. Last week I had another issue I needed help with. Again Peter was very helpful. THANKS for helping a senior customer with genuine interest and support.

Adrian White1WARNING: DO NOT BANK WITH US BANK. We opened an account on 11.06.2020. My wife is a veteran and they told us they had a special account for US Vets, so we opened one. We were told our funds were immediately available by the representative in the bank. When we tried to use the funds they were no available and we received penalty fees for insufficient funds. When we tried to contact the bank they put us off and off and finally said they put a "hold" on the funds until 11.18.2020. 11.18.2020 came and the funds were still not available and a time when they would be available kept moving later and later. This is a con. Don't get caught by these grifters. They took our money and did everything they could to not give it back.

Tiziana Gavin1The customer service at the US Bank Lincoln Beach Branch for even a simple 'run of the mill' request was terrible. I called to ask about sending a check in the mail to be deposited to my account. The employee replied 'Well, I don't know if we can do that'. I didn't understand the reluctance and it was not explained to me, when asked why there was a problem with this request. I asked for more assistance but was stonewalled by her. I called Newport Beach Branch and in 3 minutes I had an employee agree to deposit our mailed check for us - saying that they do this all the time for their clients. Lincoln Beach Branch was deliberately unhelpful. Thankfully US Bank have a branch with employees nearby that understand their job.....for that I am grateful to the Newport Beach Branch.

Janice Pritchett2When we asked customer service to send a new debit card because ours was going to expire next month, this bank closed the account right before the weekend. This was done even though the account was in good standing for over 15 years. Luckily enough for us, we had some cash on hand so we could do our normal grocery shopping.

Eugene Trahern1Do NOT go to this US Bank branch. I have been their twice, and both times they screwed me. The first time I visited the branch, they asked if I wanted additional services added to my account, which I politely declined. Then they called me at home a few days later trying to sell me services, which I declined. Then a Debit Bank Card came in the mail, which I neither ordered or approved. My second visit was just a deposit, and the teller went in the back room for over 10 minutes while I was standing at the counter. I just received my bank statement and there is a $5 "Analysis Service Charge" for apparently looking up my account to make a deposit. This abuse of account information and charges is NOT good customer service.
