All my experiences at this branch have been positive. They are currently only offering drive-thru service unless you make an in-person appointment. I'm guessing this is due to being short-staffed like most other businesses these days. In any case, I had great service from Stephanie and Lisa. Both are very attentive, helpful and courteous.
This branch has been "closed" for months due to covid. The drive thru is open but is very limited in transactions that can be done from the window and it requires you to make an appointment if you want to enter the building. If you try to call their local number to make an appointment that way you reach a recording. In today's world of connectivity I can't believe the solution they have put in place is to literally drive to their drive up window to request the opportunity to come inside. Many other usbank branches are open in seattle area etc but this one remains closed. I have been a customer for 25 years and will be closing my accounts. Just as soon as I can schedule an appointment, maybe they will refuse to meet with me.Response from the owner

The reviews on this are old and outdated I have been here for 5 years and never had a single issue partly because I am realistic about my expectations. I dont show up right before closing and try to open accounts knowing it can wait untill the next day insted of holding people up who probably have to pick up kids from daycare or other responsibilities. I also take them for their word when they say their are standard operating procedures for closing accounts. Mabe it's for our benefit that the rule was created. So before getting bent out of shape because you feel personaly triggered, take a deep breath and carry on about your day. The staff here has seen many employees and everyone moves with a purpose and is warm and inviting.
I have had several problems with this bank. I legally changed my name and they refused to change it on my account. Then a few months later I went in to close my account and get the cash value they told me they could give me a cashier's check but not the cash. They refused to give me the cash. They told me that I could go to another bank to cash the check if I needed the cash.Response from the owner

We have been customers for nearly 11 years in Port Angeles. We have found that the wonderful employees work hard to treat their customers well. Customer service, starting with a friendly greeting as we enter the bank, is obviously a high priority. My wife and I wouldn't think of banking anywhere else.
They wouldn't cash my federal tax return because I don't have an account there. My son does (I was going to put money in his account). Not friendly or helpful at all. Won't go there again!Response from the owner

i went in to this bank to open a basic savings account at 4:48 pm and was told i couldn't because they closed soon. in less then 30 seconds they lost a customer for life. poor customer care.
