  I had a wonderful experience with Trustco Bank. Gina Siwari is a great person to work with. Great mortgage experience and she is very reliable. Mr. Peter Akdeniz is welcoming and good mortgage officer. Whole process was great. Everyone from underwriting to closing departments tried their best and we closed in time. Total 4 weeks from the day we stepped into the bank. Thanks alot.

  *STAY AWAY* I was looking to acquire a home equity loan for my parents from this branch. I dealt with the branch manager here, GINA SARWARI. We sent her all documents necessary which took a couple of days to get together. Gina was UNPROFESSIONAL from the start which I didn't mind as long as we could get the loan, but on our last call she became INCREDIBLY RUDE. I think she believed I was some sort of fraud trying to use my parents identity to get a loan which was not the case at all (although she never asked to meet or speak to my parents until our very last call). I handle all my parents financial dealings, I am basically their accountant. I would have gladly walked my parents into the bank and had them meet her in person if she had simply asked me to do so. On our last call OUT OF NOWHERE she proceeded to call myself and my parents the most difficult clients she has ever dealt with, although we provided her everything she asked for. When I tried to understand why she was so angry SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. I never heard from her again. I have NEVER dealt with this level of unprofessionalism from a bank, let alone any other institution. I can't speak for Trustco as an entity but thanks to Gina, I will never do business with them again. I've heard they have high employee turnover at this branch and now I understand why. Thank you for wasting our time!

  I’m a first time home buyer, and this was an amazing experience. Gina Sarwari was an extremely helpful throughout this process. She went above and beyond to make sure that we understood and were comfortable with the information that she gave us. Gina Sarwari really treated us like family, and made sure my wife and I felt comfortable through out the whole process. I would recommended this bank and especially Gina Sarwari’s services to anyone. Great Service and great bank!

  Trustco the Home Town bank should give all the credit to Gina the bank manager in the Northvale branch. A true professional with exceptional banking knowledge and a person who always greets you with a warm smile. She is well respected by the people of Northvale and all her staff, nice to know this kind of service still exists.

  I Love Trustco Bank, and the Northvale branch is our favorite since we know everyone and they make you feel like a member of the family. Its always a pleasure to stop by. Once a year we stop by to deposit my daughters $5 birthday gift which is just the sweetest idea and a great way to teach kids about banking and money. I found out about this bank when we applied for a mortgage and they had the best rates along with the lowest closing costs and no escrow which was key for us. Highly recommended!

  Ask for Gina, she’s the best! We have 2 mortgages with trustco, because they are the best. No other lender would allow us to put only 10% down on a 4-family house and not charge any PMI!!! On top of no application fee, low closing costs, and competitive interest rates. Unfortunately in NJ, they only service Bergen County, but if that works for you, then definitely use them!

  Terrible bank. The only thing they care about is charging hidden fees from your account, which were never disclosed from the beginning. An employee even called me to assure me they would not be charging me any excess fees before they proceeded to take multiple undisclosed fees from my account and tell me there was nothing they can do when I questioned it. ATM is always broken. Mobile banking does not work. Make sure to trust your money to a reputable bank, because your money is not safe with these thieves

  INCREDIBLE SERVICE FROM BANK MANAGER GINA SARWARI. SHE ASSISTED ME AND MY FAMILY ON HER DAY OFF IN RESOLVING BANK ISSUES AND SHE PERSONALLY CAME TO OUR HOUSE EVEN THOUGH IT IS FAR AWAY FROM THE BANK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WORKING WITH GINA AT TURSTCO BANK. SHE IS THE BEST, I DO NOT THINK YOU WILL EVER HAVE A BANK MANAGER THAT WORKS SO HARD FOR THE CUSTOMER.

  Horrible bank they should change the name Trustco Bank they lie to employees and customers. Always see different employees working at this branch, I wonder why.
