      I recently moved to Melbourne from Weaverville, NC, where I banked with Suntrust. I had a problem with on line Bill Pay and went to the branch office on Lake Washington. A teller there was knowledgeable, kind and patient as we worked our way through downloading Truist. I was ready to change banks until she helped me.

      A few days ago I had decided to start looking around and changing banks and I came across Truist (former suntrust and BB&T) and filled out an application online, unfortunately it would not go through due to being able to verify my identity for some reason, so I had just left it at that. Come a few days later on a whim I decided to stop into the lake Washington branch to just open it in person. As soon as I walked through the door I was directly welcomed and greeted by Mr.Edgardo, I immediately felt professionalism. When he had showed to his desk I had explained what happened with my online application and after doing some research he had verified my documents in branch, after Mr.Edgardo introduced me to some of Suntrust/Truist products and after reviewing products that best fits my budget and needs I am now a client of Truist. I truly feel after February 2022 Truist is going to be one of the top competitors with i.e chase, BoA, etc… I’m excited to start a new relationship with the Truist Family, Big thanks to the branch and Most definitely Mr.Edgardo for your upmost Knowledge and respect. I will be looking forward to making in branch transactions at this location. If your looking to try out a new bank give them a try!

      Edgardo was very helpful. He recognized the reason we were charged $20 per month on our checking account was that it wasn't linked to our Suntrust credit card. He went the extra mile to get those charges reversed.

      Donna the manager has been fantastic at finding solutions. She takes time with each customer. Sometime that means being understanding about waiting for her to also spend the time with the person in front of you, but I know she will take the time and resolve my issues. I am always greated by the tellers when I walk in and asked what they can do to help me.

      I have had great experiences with the people at the branch at Lake Washington. Alex was extremely helpful. The hours of operation at this branch are ridiculous. Walk in service closes at 4pm but the drive through stays open till 5pm. Who closes a business during a week day at 4? SunTrust, that’s who. Their website hours are messed up too. So don’t believe what you read even when the information is supplied by the bank itself.

      Been standing in line for 10 minutes waiting with only 2 tellers working at 9am. One elderly woman had to sit down after about 5 minutes of waiting. Teller was very impatient after my 10 minute wait and was not pleased with me being on my phone (writing this review). 10 minutes was not an exaggeration, 9:02-912 is how long I stood in line. Seems a bit excessive when I was the next person in line from the time I arrived

      I have called the Lake Washington three times to get a charge resolved. I was told the manager would call me back. When I called for the second time the manager was on vacation back for the third time she still has not called me back I guess I’m gonna have to move this account to I’ve pulled all the other ones

      The personal banker (I think her name is Donna) has TWICE been the most unhelpful person I have ever encountered in any bank. She has an extremely poor attitude for no apparent reason. I shall be changing my bank shortly !

      I tried multiple times at 2 different branches to get online banking straightened out. I gave up. And the time I wasted!
