Restoration 1 Tampa Bay5We have multiple business accounts and had a rocky time transitioning from SunTrust to Truist. Several issues with QBO syncing with the bank etc. Throughout the process Maria Rosa was the one constant we could rely on. If she couldn’t answer her phone, she’d call back as soon as she was free. Sometimes after the normal close of business … but she called back! These 5-stars are for Maria, not Truist. It’s getting much better though!

Stephanie Plazas5Maria is the best! I’ve never had such a great banker than Maria. She’s very understanding and helpful with my needs and questions. She speaks both English and Spanish so that’s a plus! She’s quick to respond back to my voicemails and so far, I would rather do any of my banking needs through her and her only. I have banked with Suntrust for YEARS! BB&T I’ve only used to pay my HOA fees so I don’t really know much about them. I would recommend setting an appointment with Maria and get all your banking needs done by her. She’s quick on her feet and is always looking for a way to make you smile and leave happily.

Michael Moore1I loved BB&T. I absolutely hate Truist. No customer service at all. I have a problem with my business credit card, 2.5 hours on hold before I gave up. Unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Kristen Young1I am so sad SunTrust merged with BB&T. The customer service at this bank is horrible, not because of the one SunTrust employee they have running both the counter inside and the drive through window on a Friday morning at that, but because the BB&T employee refused to service SunTrust customers. There were about 10 SunTrust customers in line, she would only take BB&T customers. So we are all waiting,waiting,waiting for this one SunTrust employee. Then some one said that they were going to call corporate. All the sudden this BB&T employee started taking SunTrust customers. It was ridiculous, of course she had the biggest attitude .I felt like I was a red-headed step child there. Like my business wasn't good enough. I will definitely be switching banks. I am going to miss SunTrust dearly though. It was the best bank I ever had.

Laurie1Worst customer service ever. Every time I've been in this Branch, their staff is awful. They make you wait ridiculous amounts of time to do simple things. They have three people available to serve you and you have to wait for one other person working with other people. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Mel Crosby1I’ve never experienced such inconsistencies with customer service- between calling the customer service # and going into the branch. Everyone gives you a different answer or refers you to someone else. No one can provide a written payoff to us - the customer. They will only provide a verbal same day payoff. We’ve made 3 visits to the branch with unsatisfactory results. They also told us that they place a hold on wired funds up to 48hrs which most financial institutions will release same day. If what we were told is true - there could be a possible Reg CC violation, if they are not releasing funds by the next business day. My fear is that they are going to cost us the sale of our boat as they are making it so difficult to payoff the loan and release the lien. Very frustrating- would not recommend this financial institution.

Allison Mercurio1This location is permanently closed. They don't tell you that on this map so when you go there,it's now a construction site and they've completely leveled the entire building.. so now it's saturday, there was fraud on my card, and I have no money for the weekend.

oscar rivera1Ms Sein here. The bank has turned into a joke since merging. I ordered checks and they arrived with my former address. I returned them but no refund. I called the bank and was told to call the branch myself. I will be leaving this bank. They are purchases and then charge you tons of fees for purchases that should have been denied. Tons of fraudulent activity. Branch in Brandon Fl.
