Truist Reviews

T Black3We changed to this bank way back in '09 because our company used BBT and didn't offer direct deposit but WOULD deposit our checks for us. At that time we lived just up the street from a branch so no worries. Then we moved to Greeneville TN and also had a branch fairly close (great news). Now just like EVERY buy out I've been associated with they just HAVE to fix stuff that isn't broken. I will definitely be seeking a new bank to switch my business to since an hour round trip just to use an ATM is just stupid. I can imagine this new company doesn't care anything about it's Greene county customers as everyone I know is saying the same thing and y'all are willing to lose these customers!

Brandy Ranly1I'm so disappointed with the decision made by the consolidation with Truist they are closing the Greeneville branch. There won't even be access to the ATM anymore, they're not moving and the next closest physical branch will be in Johnson City. They charge $8 to cash a check here, even if it's FROM their bank, unless you're a member. No free checking unless you have direct deposit. The only good thing about this particular bank is being able to deposit cash and actually have it available. I couldn't even make cash deposits through the ATM at CCU because of low credit score. So now I'm getting mad I don't want to be online only banking, I gotta have a brick and mortar bank to go to physically especially if I need actual assistance. Otherwise nice bank they shouldn't be closing our only branch here. Bank of America also abandoned this area.

Richard Miller2I opened an account here since I have family all over the place. I thought they could handle interstate stuff better. Whoops.... WRONG The bank is short staffed, making even the simplest task a nightmare. I have low confidence that my money is actually mine.

Ronnie Watts1If they were any good they would keep a ATM in Greeneville for there customers

Americanpatriots Truenews1They are closed when many banks are open. * Today they closed to celebrate Retail Sales day! Now that made bb&t customers very unhappy I'm sure. Customers in cars were sitting in the drive up bays waiting as I did and did not know as they only had a small sign at the one window. Poorly managed in my opinion. Employees are constantly replaced (as fast as their customers find other banks I suspect).

Javier Olivares1They change employees too often every time are different people, there business hours are more limited compared to other local banks.
