  Received a letter in the mail offering $250 to open a checking account. I’ve got two other checking accounts with banks that are not local and I was looking to close them and go to a local bank. They refused to honor the mail flyer because it had my sisters name on the flyer. My house was built in 2016 (the year I bought and moved into it) and she lives in Raleigh. Needless to say they wasted my time.

  This BBT has cost the branch a 6 year customer (me) and more than likely a lot more. I've never had so many problems trying to get my money. Monday morning, I'm taking my money else where because this place obviously has enough. 10-10-2017 still have not received my money. I don't understand how you people can just let others wait on something they need. I guess my wife and I will drink rain water and eat dirt because WE DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY because you people are holding out. Have fun when I come in 10 minutes till closing to close my account. If my money is not in my account in the morning I'm getting an attorney.

  my son is 16 and has a job so we went to the local bank to set him up an account to be able to cash his checks. First negitive was they would not allow him to open an IRA account saying he is too young. My daughter opened hers at 15, all that was required was a job with a paystub. Great deturant BB&T on helping plan for the future. Today we were setting up his on line banking and the CS rep was horrible, I as his mom, is on the account, as the women asking for his identafible information she refused to help him becuase she could hear me telling him when to find the information she was asking, I was TRYING to use this as a TEACHING moment, nope BB&T refeused to help. Ok now I have set in my name (way to go on helping kids learn how to bank) now we cant get onto mobile because no one seems to know what the Customer ID number would be..REALLY??? So for 47 minutes i was bounced around from person to person to get get this information. I will be finding a new bank to enroll my in because this one is HORRIBLE!!!

  Slowwwwwww as hell there's one last that is extremely rude as well. Every time I go to this location it's the same out come.
