  Been banking with BB&T for years and never came across an issue that would deserve anything less than a 5 star review. The employees here are always polite, professional and work in a timely manner. Great Bank!

  I wanted to add my wife to my bank account. I was told I could come through the drive through when I had called to check. They said I had to talk with one single individual waited for 1.5 hours, nothing. Called her number, no call backs over 1 week later.

  This’s B.B.& T bank in Summerville ga is the worst bank I have ever been with & I am switching banks this branch charged me 13 overdraft fees of $36 each over $400.00 they took from me because they claimed that it takes 3 days for the bank to clear each purchase I made the week before where that makes any since I have no idea!?! & no I’m not an upset customer giving them a bad view I am simply stating my experience with them! They have not once gave me any curtesy calls nor have they ever been friendly with me they have always been rude & when trying to fix or discuss my account they sent me back & forth from one office to the next & then back to the first office again & stared at me instead of explaining what or where the problem is or was all they told me was I don’t know what happened!?! They not only charged me overdraft so did not make but they charged my 80 yr old grand mother two moths before along with my mother my sister & several different friends & gave them no explanation as well! As I left the bank I drove to the kangaroo above town & was on the phone talking about the matter to a friend & low & behold more than 4 people standing in line were saying that BB&T bank in Summerville done them the same way & they closed out there accounts & switched to another bank who I then went & got in touch with after speaking to the very kind gentleman & showing him a print out I had to ask for 3 different times from BB&T he agreed that I should have that looked into & said it looks like there taking your money! I was shocked I thought BB&T was a good trust worthy bank until I banked with them needless to say he assured me none of those charges would ever happen at his bank & should have never happened at my bank he also assured me they would always give me a curtesy call when anything thing looks low or out of line on my account & they would always respect & be respectful to their customers! & one more thang before I go make sure you look at your bank statements really good my account was being charged several times $18 for inmate phone calls from Texas not only do I not call or allow inmate calls but I have never known anyone in Texas & was told on those charges when I called BB&T that well you must have known someone otherwise it wouldn’t be charged to your account!?! They didn’t even once offer nor did they take the time to even look into fraudulent activity nor did I get those amounts back! I’m going to also add that $1600.00 was taken out of my sister account few months back from her income tax check & when she went down to find out where her money went & when it would be back into her account she was told we have no idea where it went because there was a glitch in our computer system & unfortunately we have no way of giving it back to you!?! & 4 months later she still has not seen one cent of that money!! So In my opinion this BB&T bank in Summerville ga is by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with & I would not recommend this branch to anyone! & I think it’s only fair that others at least know my & everyone’s experiences with this bank & for the ones who have good experiences I am so happy for you & Thank God Any of these issues have not happened to you! :) God Bless

  This is the worst bank ever. If you deposit cash is not available until the next day and everything pending goes thru before it. So there for you can acquire overdraft fees. I banked with SunTrust Bank for years and never had this. Cash is and should be always available instantly regardless of how it's deposited. I'm going back to SunTrust. This bank is way behind all other banks I have spoke with also

  Have never had a problem with this bank always fast and very friendly and whenever I put cash in the bank it is ready to use no waiting until the next day
