LENNY PEIFFER1HOME EQUITY LOAN - DO NOT USE!!! When they want your business they will tell you anything to have you sign the documents. We have a lien and part of the funds was to pay off that lien. We were crystal clear about this issue. The rest of the money was for necessary home improvements. The loan officer, bank manager was very understanding and said YES, NO PROBLEM we can get around this issue as long as everything else checks out. Our credit is very good, plenty of equity in the home. After over 30 days of processing sending him the necessary documents, he started to avoid us. No return emails, no return phone calls, etc....Finally we went in the bank and confronted him. He said, " you have liens so we cant do the loan". REDICULOUS. This was told to him up front and he understood with "No Problem". He checked our credits, did the desk top appraisal, knocked our score lower and just wasted our time. He is also the LEAD loan officer / bank manager there. Nobody is above him, so apparently he has no boss. He should be fired. STAY AWAY!!

Justice Alexander1Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only were they rude, the lady with the glasses who did not wanna give her name lied to me 3 times when i have been banking with this bank for 8+ years. After i was done depositing my check. She didn't ask was that all i needed, they told me to move forward and get an attitude when I said i wanted to move money from one account to another. I understand your all a little frustrated about it being busy but no need for the attitude.

Kathleen Martin1DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK. The bank manager started to ask me personal questions regarding the reason why I am opening a business account. They are uneducated as I previously had a bank account with them. They discriminated against me and called the police on me for wanting to opening a business account. Never in my life have I ever been insulted and discriminated. Due to the pandemic, I am currently working home, so I am dressed very casually. I should not have to dress up and look like a million dollars. They treat people who are hard workers nasty and only treat people who are rich better. They are awful and the worse experience I ever had. STAY AWAY !!

I needed a way to pay online that wouldn't be able to renew on my checking account and Susan suggested a pre-paid card which was just what I needed...she set me up and now I'm ready to go! The branch is busy since everything has to be done outside the building, but we all know that we need some extra patience dealing with our new Covid world...thanks Susan, I know I was a bit of a pain at first, but all is well now. I've been with BB&T for 15 years and I've never had any problems ever...always a great banking experience...thank you!

jaquirah knight1There was a miss communication between me and the supervisor on the phone about over draft fees I had to go to the branch to get a better understanding I was called ghetto by one of the guys and was told to leave the location or I will go to jail. I later tried to deposit money in my account they block my account so I can’t use my card . Longest I been banking with BB&T I never had these problems I will no longer be going to the branch in Margate Florida.

Alannah Irwin1Tellers are snobby and rude. Impatient and won't help you out. I asked the teller to waive the hold on my paycheck and instead of waiting for the teller that has done it before, he asked someone who "didn't remember" (when she's done it before too). When asked why it was a problem since I go there all of the time, he simply looked at me and shrugged. Very rude. Better off doing a mobile deposit instead of wasting your time at this branch. And I'll write the exact same thing when the branch moves at the end of the month. Uncalled for and very unsatisfied. Oh and as an edit: the tellers never take the time to introduce themselves, as if we burden them by walking in the door. Very sad for a customer service professional. I would expect better from BB&T.

My Vids5Great staff at this location. Always friendly and helpful. Had difficulty with other lenders transacting a deal. Thanks to Susan she got it done. Forget the negative reviews as most only post a review when it’s bad and most of those people are in the wrong anyway with negative personalities.
