Troy Ross - Citizens Bank, Home Mortgages Reviews

Christine Humphreys5My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. We closed this past Friday and if I could give Troy and his team (McKayla and Mike) 100 stars I would. From our very first phone call with Troy 7 months ago to our last conversation, on the day of closing, the process was seamless. We had a more complicated closing involving a land assignment and construction loan but Troy and his team made what is typically a very stressful time into one of our most pleasant experiences. I can't say enough nice things and wish them all the best because they deserve it. Thank you guys so much.

Ann Greenberg5Please consider this note as a testament to Troy Ross and his team at Citizens Bank. I initially met with Troy to apply for a loan to renovate my apartment in New York City. The process was complicated because I am involved in a start up business and my expenses offset income and other banks I had spoken with were unable to help me. However, Troy realized that since I own my coop apartment and I have a brokerage account the numbers might work for me to obtain a loan. Thanks to his team members Joe Habbouba and Susan Woods and their diligent, intelligent, patient and knowledgeable efforts, we were able to provide the necessary information for the underwriters to approve my loan. I cannot thank Troy, Joe and Susan enough for helping me obtain the loan and relieve my financial stress!

Michele Pierre1Stay away from this Lender and his entire organization at Citizens One, including his assistant Susie Woods. I have spoken to Troy and Susie back in July to obtain a mortgage pre-qualification. I had asked multiple times not to have my credit pulled, verbally and in writing, as I was evaluating several lenders at the time and simply wanted to get information on potential interest rates. He did not even care to look into my file without pulling my credit and clearly mentioned that he had no interest in assisting with the loan. 2 months later, after never hearing a word from him, he randomly pulls my credit as well as my husband's credit from all 3 credit bureaus, without my consent! I already closed on the loan with another Bank and own the property. I have called him and e-mailed him to request a letter of deletion for me to use with all 3 credit bureaus and his response was "I'm at the gym. You're going to have to wait". This is fraud at its highest level. He will be reported to the NJ Commission immediately.
