Great rates on car loans, but they have screwed up my payments now for the second time! Can't get anyone to respond or call me back. I pay two car loans on same day. They have repeatedly applied both payments to same loan, even though, the checks list separate accounts. I get constant email and text saying I am late for payment, but you can see online the payments are miss applies. Total joke! They don't care. Update:. I recieved a COLLECTIONS notice today. Again... They have not called me, not responded to email. The payments are MADE and you applied them incorrectly. This place is a total joke and I will be moving ourbloans to another location.

I've had the pleasure of co-running a St. Louis business for 6 years now. We've been with Bank of Amercia since our founding, but now that we're doing larger volumns we were looking to switch to a local credit union where we thought the service would be better. I went in to get a checking account at first, and depending how I liked the account, would look into their business services. The experience was miserable. The girl I talked to was horribly untrained and unknowledgable. My address is outside of St. Louis, but my office address and business is run in St. Louis. I kept being informed I had to have a St. Louis address or be an AB employee. This whole time I'm telling her I work in St. Louis and reading to her their own brochure which says as long as you work there you can have an account. She stormed off to get management who then told me I was correct and if I could get documentation proving my work address then I could open up an account. The entire interaction once I informed her I work in St. Louis should have only consisted of them informing me I needed to have proof of my work address and examples of what that proof may be. On the plus side the management was nice and well-informed. Hoping this was an isolated incident, but we won't be taking our chances.

      Response from the owner

Hi Zach, We've also responded to your Yelp review. Please see my response below. Thank you.-Kim Zach, I'm sorry to hear your experience at our Lynch Street location was not ideal for accessing information on how to open an account. Credit unions do operate with specific qualified fields of membership, and we strive to serve anyone who lives or works in the St. Louis area with the best financial service, but it sounds like we missed the mark. I'm glad the branch manager was able to clarify membership qualifications. It's unfortunate to know we missed an opportunity to show you how great our service and financial products are, but thank you for leaving this feedback. If you change your mind, please know we're here for you. You can reach me directly at [email protected].

I would honestly have to say--skip them as an auto loan company. American Eagle Credit Union (Together bought them out) gave me a great auto loan and percentage. Together CU is horrible. Skip and find a Credit Union that actually cares and works with their clients. When it's time for another loan--Together will never be a choice for me.

      Response from the owner

Hello Ashley, Thank you for leaving a review on our Lynch Street location and I apologize for the delay in response. I hope you have received my responses for our Purina and Florissant branch locations regarding this review, but I'd like to see if you would like to speak with someone at the credit union in the case of your auto loan. Please know that member service should not have impacted your experience from a name change that happened last fall. If you would like to connect, please email [email protected]. Thank you, hope you're staying safe and healthy during this time. -Kim

Horrible customer service. Do not ever do business with them. No sense or urgency or follow up. You would be better off with a modern bank with real technology and people who work timely. Get out of 2000 Together CU!

      Response from the owner

Hi Rachel, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our Lynch Street branch and I'm sorry to hear that your experience did not meet our service standards regarding follow-up and communication. We want every member to receive excellent service and have the right tools they need to be successful with their personal finance goals while they're with us and it sounds like we did not deliver on those items. I would like to learn more about your experience if you're willing to share, so we can give the proper feedback to our operations teams in order to see what we can improve on. If you have a moment, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. Thank you, Kim

I've used share branches for years, and they've been able to look up my account using my ID or SSN with ID. This time, they refused to do that, and the tellers were arguing about whether or not they could look it up by SSN or not.... Frustrating.

      Response from the owner

Hi Zach, I apologize for the delayed response and can understand how frustrating this experience would be--especially if you were used to using our location as a shared branch on multiple occasions for the same needs in the past. I forwarded this review to our operations team to ensure this process is still current for our teams and would like the opportunity to share with you what I learned... At any shared branch, the ideal situation is to have your unique account number. However, an account can be retrieved with an SSN/ID. This process would include calling the primary financial institution and using the SSN/ID to retrieve the member account number. It appears that this method is perhaps how the account details have been retrieved in the past, as just SSN/IDs can be used for a primary lookup, but not a shared branch, and that must have been where the confusion originated. I do apologize for the mix-up and have forwarded your review to our operations team management, so they may better how we can better service our shared branch members. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of the credit union. If there is anything else from your experience that you would like to share, you can reach me directly at [email protected]. Thank you, Kim

Poor customer service. Sending payments to collections after already being paid. No way to pay online or over the phone.. Ever since merging to ‘Together’ credit union, this has been a very frustrating company to deal with. I would NOT recommend them.

      Response from the owner

Hi Nick, Thanks for leaving a review on our Lynch Street location and I apologize for the delay in response. It's true that a lot has happened since our name change last fall, with a core system conversion and some network issues. We know that it has made it more challenging for our members, and we are working hard to make sure these isolated moments do not happen again. Thank you for letting us know how the past few months have impacted you. If you would like to speak in more detail regarding this payment situation, please email us at [email protected] and I can get you connected. I hope you're staying safe and healthy during this time. Thank you. -Kim

Fine for basic checking and savings but I joined specifically for loan options which I was assured would be easy when I was joining. Staff have been extremely nonresponsive over email and phone; I ended up having to go to the branch and ask to speak to someone to get a promised response on multiple occassions. I've been with credit unions all my life and work with various lenders for my profession; I've never experienced such unprofessional and unhelpful behavior. Nonresponsive, not knowledgeable and don't seem to have the problem-solving skills I see from quality bankers.

It has been 2 weeks since I started the “phone call” process of trying to sell my property and make sure I was asking enough to pay off the house. I’ve called about 6 times and have gotten no where. I just want to be done and it seems like they don’t. Absolutely ridiculous

      Response from the owner

Hi Jamie, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your experience with us and I'm sorry about the lack of communication on our end. I would like to help get this in front of the right management team members to make sure you are receiving the proper service to get all the information you need in order to sell your property. If you have a moment, could you email me directly at [email protected] with the name on your account and best time of day to reach you? Thank you very much, Kim

Fenton MO lost a $1400 check I'd given them for deposit into my account March 2021. Ongoing telephone tag as of today, August 03, 2021.

      Response from the owner

Our Branch Director will be reaching out to you to address the missing check. If you need anything in the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. We are here for you. Kindest regards, Tyler

Not a good place for business accounts. It is a different service center that does not have access to business accounts. They will tell you that you don't have an account at this institution. LOL I was speechless that nobody would listen. Of course I had an account, but the call center is clueless.

      Response from the owner

Hi Marty, Thank you for leaving a review and I'm sorry about the miscommunication with our call center. I am forwarding this to our operations management team and would love to learn more about your experience if you are willing to share. If you have a moment to reach out, you can contact me directly at [email protected]. Thank you! -Kim
