Over the years I have banked at various financial institutions for my personal needs, as well as my commercial needs, and I have found that First State Bank exceeds all expectations. Wonderful, very knowledgeable, staff which is only one of the reasons I will continue to bank there.

I was making a deposit at the Bay City branch today at a drive thru. An african american teller come gets my deposit, takes it to her counter, then some other customer comes to her desk, she puts my deposit on a side, and services that other customer. I dont think thats good customer service.

I have never been so upset with an internet website as I am with these people. Their website is the only one I had trouble with out of all the webs I go to. They had me believing that it was my server that was the problem. I went threw this a couple of months and still no answers. Sometimes I think that they were not updating their website on purpose just make money off of fees they would charge for ins funds or other fees .
