  We cannot say enough how great our experience was working with Todd and having our wedding reception at The Bank! We choose the venue when it was in the beginning stages of being renovated, Todd had explained to us his vision and we were sold! This venue is absolutely beautiful and so unique, Todd has only gone above and beyond what he originally told us about. Every nook and cranny of this place has a story to tell and our guests absolutely loved it!!! We rented the whole venue including "Beneath the Bank" for our whole wedding party to have a place to stay the night which is soooooo nice!! Everyone was able to party as much as they wanted and we didn't have to worry about Ubers or anything!!! (HUGE PERK!) Plus we were able to go about the town and have a good time as well - no open container law in East Aurora was great so we had a late night bar crawl to boot for the guests that weren't ready to go home because everyone was having such a great time!!! The rooms all being based on bank robbers are so great!! My wedding party was super excited about it - we had some guests walking down into the lounge area to take some fun photos as well!!! So we didn't have to rent any "lounge" area furniture like a lot of people are doing these days which is so expensive - it is already set up and a great relaxing area for people to take some great photos!!!! We utilized the stunning courtyard area for a relaxing outdoor area and filled the patio with outdoor games - they were a huge hit!!!! Todd had brought down his gorgeous orange Pierce Arrow for us to use for photos and we got some amazing ones that I will share! He even went and brought his adorable BMW Isetta which was so great for some fun photos!! I could go on and on and on about this venue and I will to anyone that asks me! The best part was our experience with Todd - I have heard some really scary stories about people planning weddings during the pandemic but Todd is the reason I wasn't the bride pulling my hair out!!!! He was absolutely amazing, and did everything he could to accommodate us and work with us during these crazy times!!! I for sure recommend this venue!!! Believe me you don't have to look anywhere else this is the best place and the best people to work with!!!!!

  Beneath the Bank is an amazing property in the heart of East Aurora. We stayed in the Pretty Boy Floyd room as a group of 4. The unit has 2 private bedrooms and a shared bathroom. The beds were comfortable and rooms were well maintained. If you are looking for a place walking distance to all that East Aurora has to offer, Beneath the Bank should be the first option. 10/10.

  Todd Stein and the Bank of East Aurora exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding this past summer. It's a scary thing to "invest" a lot of hard earned money into one big day. You'd like to think the person you are essentially going into business with has your best interest at heart. That said, Todd had our backs 100% of the way. He is INCREDIBLY detail oriented. He wanted to make sure that our day was just as we envisioned. Absolute 10/10 when it comes to responsiveness, communication and overall value. I don't have one negative thing to say and I would highly recommend Todd and The Bank of East Aurora. Have your wedding here, you won't regret it. Photo by @russellphotography2011

  I wanted to give a little shout out to The Bank of East Aurora! I could not recommend the bank of East Aurora and Todd enough. I had not originally planned to stay at the bank but the day before my wedding I found out that another venue (that I booked over a year prior 😑) had double booked my room and I was left without a space for my bridal party and I to get ready. On 10 mins notice Todd not only had a beautiful room for me to stay in but the MOST BEAUTIFUL BRIDAL SUITE I have ever seen. Todd turned a bride’s worst nightmare into the most perfect day. There are so many photo opportunities at the bank, the space is exquisite and you will not meet a nicer and more accommodating person than Todd!!! It truly has everything you could need in a venue. Also so many things in walking distance from this venue to do with the bridal party! I am anxiously waiting my photographer photos from this space! Highly highly recommend! Do not hesitate booking this venue!!!

  Daughter's wedding reception was at The Bank, and it was truly special. We overnighted there the night of the wedding. The rooms are awesome! Todd thought of everything when he remodeled the venue. There are a ton of very cool features at The Bank. Between Todd (owner), Rich's catering and music from Ade Adu, the newlyweds had an absolutely perfect wedding day. Thank you Todd for your beautiful venue. I highly recommend Todd and The Bank for any special event, or a stay in one of the rooms, amazing!!!!

  Gorgeous new venue, we got to see it during an artisan market with beautifully hand-crafted local products including pressed-flower wall hangings, Buffalo-themed apparel, candles, wedding cookies and cakes, and more. The building itself has been stunningly redone and while preserving the bank's antique charm.

  August 29, 2021 my now husband and I got married at The Bank of East Aurora. I cannot express with enough gratitude how amazing Todd was to ensure everything went smoothly for us. We rented the whole venue, courtyard, Bank and Beneath the bank rooms. It overall made for the best experience. Getting ready in the morning with my girls in the Boardroom and the guys hung out in the lounge beneath the bank. We had our ceremony in the courtyard and then reception in the bank. We were announced by surprising our guest as we came out the main vault. Every tiny detail is perfectly in place to make the Bank the most unique place. Not to mention how cool it was to have Todd bring his antique car for our wedding photo opp ! Thank you Todd you were amazing h to work with. If getting married check this place out. You will not regret it.

  In Portuguese the word ‘banco (bank) “ means a financial house or institution and a place to seat down ( bench). The first time walking in East Aurora, I was atracted to the wonderful building. Then I looked at windows and what I saw inside? Nothing like a Bank institution but only “CHAIRS”!! It’s not a bank anymore but the real name could be “CHAIR”. Sorry if this little joke can not made a smile for you ….. GGM

  Our stay at The Bank was amazing! We celebrated a special birthday and we stayed overnight with several friends. Really fabulous décor - The Bank is decorated so chic and with an impressive nod to its origins as a bank and the 1920s. The Bank's guest rooms and shared spaces were spotless. We enjoyed playing table top shuffleboard in the common room Beneath the Bank and rehashing the fun we had had at some of East Aurora's restaurants earlier in the evening. We enjoyed warm hospitality, specifically it was easy to book our plans with management and they went out of their way to make sure that we felt welcome. A pleasure through and through!

  Meticulously clean rooms, fun vibes hotel. The speakeasy common area has a great space to chill out. Every detail thought out perfectly. Highly recommend!
