I truly wish I was able to leave a comment and not provide any stars… Let’s start with application was done on a Monday never received a response/follow up, I had to call on Wednesday I spoke to a total of 5 YES FIVE DIFFERENT people. Then every time I call the say they never received documents or needed to update application information yet I had to call to find out this information (because they are short staffed). Next I come to find out after talking to 4 other people, that they looked at all closed accounts over 5 years old, the “say” I didn’t have an auto loan history. Colonial Auto Loan is listed as clear as day as “CURRENT”, “CLOSED” And of course in “My Own name”. Time wasted, unprofessional, and highly inaccurate information, definitely a credit union that is not for THE PEOPLE

I was told by Johnathan (employee) that my credit score would not be affect when scheduling my payment, I asked multiple times about this prior to scheduling, and i told him i would make it work if I absolutely had to. But was assured that the payment was not going to be reported as late. Unfortunately Texas Trust did report my payment as late, I contacted collections where I spoke to Johnathan and then was transferred to the supervisor. The supervisor kept saying it was “subject to reporting” and this would not of been a big deal if that was the case. The issue here is I was assured that my credit score would not be affected which clearly was a lie. My score has dropped 56 points due to this mishap. I informed the supervisor that you can not have one employee tell you that it is going to be okay and another tell me no. If he did not know the answer he should of got with someone who did. Because of Texas Trust mishap I am now at fault. Moral of the story, don’t trust anyone here.

Paid off my auto loan with them and closed out the account. Then 2 weeks later I still get auto drafted the car payment for the car that is already paid off. I called them about it and was told they use a third party and that I should have manually closed that as well after the car was paid off. When I closed out the account and confirmed the loan was paid off 2 weeks earlier, they had failed to mention that to me. When I asked why they didn’t mention it to me they didn’t have an answer. They didn’t reverse it immediately and said I’d have to wait for them to process it and send me a paper check, however long it takes. Absolutely ridiculous that their excuse was to hide behind a “third party”.

Banking here has been fine 4 stars there.. the 2 stars is for the loooooong lines EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME to this location. There’s currently 12 cars in the drive through.. I’ve been here 25 mins and not one has moved.. and conveniently the lobby is closed and you HAVE to do transactions through the drive thru. Unacceptable and screams we don’t care about our patrons time! Open the lobby already, or hire more staff geez!

I have called multiple times over the last years and you never get a reponse . You have to keep calling and calling then you might get someone but they dont seem to care about your concerns . You walk into the branches and everybody seems to point to the other person until someone finally half way assists you. They dont want to loan 5,000 unless you have 50,000 in your saving account . Thats the reason you get with a credit unions is to be able to buy houses and cars with a good group of people . I havent found any of the above .

We have been going through the worst car buying experience. Through the four days of complete chaos this bank specifically Brandon from the Hurst location and Pat from the Grand Prairie location have in contact with us and gone above and beyond. This is not your average credit union. These people really do care I don't believe I will ever be able to express my gratitude fully. Thank you for being so great!

      Response from the owner

Happy to hear you received such great service, Misty! Thank you for your feedback and we thank you for your membership.

I opened an account with them, despite the fact that I don't care for banking. But due to my fiance having an account with them for a long time and never having a problem with them, I thought it wouldn't be such a bad idea and plus they were a credit union. Well I went to deposit my first check for that account Saturday, and then saw that there was a hold on it for two weeks. I panicked and got a hold of someone that following Monday, and spoke with Whitney today and she took care of everything for me! Excellent customer service and speedy response. Great bank!

      Response from the owner

Thank you for your 5-star rating, Luna! We appreciate your kind words and thank you for being a member.

Where do I begin, first of all they are veRy slow, the closest location is 22 miles away to even do business, there is no Sat. morning drive thr banking for those who live far, you can't even deposit money to your account by ATM when they are closed. I can never reach anyone by phone, "scary"! I'm only here for now because they bought out my credit union Qualtrust, whom I was with for 20yrs they were the BEST, miss them. This new place allowed someone who was just making a deposit to my account to have access to my entire account balance & they were not me or a sighner on my bank account. Hope this review helps someone.

Do not under any circumstances take out an auto loan with these guys. You have to use one website to get information about your auto loan and another one to make the payment. Both look like they are out of the 1990s and are far below the standards of a modern portal you would find at a larger bank like Capital One, U.S. Bank, etc. Furthermore, if you ever forget a password, the process to reset it is confusing and will likely cause you to have to call in. If they offer you a loan at a good rate, it's not worth saving a few bucks. Take your money elsewhere.
