Texas Trust Credit Union Reviews

Stephanie Naihe Laxton5I moved to Texas in 2013 when initially Qualtrust. A CU member since 18 yrs old. Love the service & helpful staff. My adult child suggested it after her move 5 months before me. Last yr opened acct for my working teen & he loves the ease of the app. Recommend teen accounts. No issues 👌

Roger Howell1The worse banking ever. Rude and disrespectful customer service. They don’t ever answer their phones. If you have one question you’re on hold for ever. Very bad experience.

Adriana Martinez1Worst bank ever first of all shouldn't let the card overdraft no more than 100 but somehow got over draft 500 they said they couldn't do anything about it and then another 90 fee overdraft which was less then 12hrs but shouldn't charge it within 24hrs anyways a fee is just 30 and also they couldn't do anything about it, so I do not recommend this place at all. They just want your money and thats all they care about. Not to mention some how it charged the old card which havent had in 2 months because it wasn't working so I been having a new one with different info on it. Apparently what they said its unfortunate.
Response from the ownerWe are sorry that you've not had a 5-star experience with us, Adriana. We would like to help if we can. Victoria Martinez5Didnt have any accounts with them. Just walked in bc my sister recommended them. We were in search of a loan for a travel trailer to live in full time. We got approved for it with some work. They did such great work I changed ALLL my accounts to Texas trust. now we have a travel trailer, 2019 truck and a credit card with Texas trust. Rachel and Tyler are amazing but honestly you cant go wrong with any one there. They work hard for you and if they cant do something they explain why and how to correct it. They are amazing!!!
Response from the ownerThank you so much for your review, Victoria! So happy to have you as a part of the Texas Trust family. We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback!

Joseph Johnson1This place is definitely not where you want to go for loans. I have a near perfect credit score and make 85k annually with no debt and no history’s of missed payments. I went in to get Car financing for 20k and encountered one of the most infuriating experiences ever. I told them I was on a time constraint. I provided everything they asked of me. The lady was nice enough to talk with, but when she sent it to their under writers they denied it. Frustrating, but I guess they saw me as young and didn’t want to assist. So I get my dad to co-sign the loan. Now, he is self employed and has owned a few businesses for about 30 years. He hasn’t managed multiple million+ dollar loans with absolutely no issue; and has a consistent income that would place him in the highest bracket. He showed his proof of income in the form of tax returns over a 3 year period. Again, the under writers get his information and they turned him down! It was almost laughable if it wasn’t so insanely frustrating. Now at this point I’ve wasted the better part of a day deaing with this bloated bureaucratic excuse of an organization. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after they said the application would be escalated (to someone who actually knows what they’re doing). The lady says she will reach out to me as soon as she gets back. So Monday rolls around and I wait until 9:00 am to call in. To no surprise, they have an extremely annoying automated system that wastes 5 minutes explaining the menu. I finally get in contact with an actual human and they say no one is in and They’ll take a message. An hour passed and no answer (keep in mind I am on a time restraint for the car because it will sell quickly). I decide to call again and after sitting through the frustrating menu a second time, I get connected to another employee. I explain the situation and she says she’ll get in touch. This happens 3 more times and I’m explaining that I need to talk to the person I had originally dealt with in hopes that I wont have to explain my situation for a 5th time and finally she calls me. She says she’ll reach out to me once she gets more info. I call back, no answer. Call again later, and again no answer. At this point I am fed up. I contact my bank and set up an appointment. Within 20 minutes of me shaking his hand I am approved. It really shed light on the incompetency of Texas trust and how horribly it is ran. Moral of the story: save yourself the head ache and avoid this institution altogether.

Becky Kaye1I went into the Bedford TTCU to change my account, and after I left and was at my front door, the associate called me to return & sign "forgotten" forms. When I returned & corrected multiple errors on the printed pages, it took him f-o-r-e-v-e-r to redo them...(he liked to argue). Then, when he handed me the "corrected" copies, I found some of the same errors I corrected on the first copy. He got huffy when I had to keep telling him what to put where and how to spell it. I told him I was frustrated and unhappy with the process. As I was leaving he was obviously not happy...and neither was I. MY ADVICE: Avoid the Bedford store.

Alissa5Great and friendly customer service. I opened my account a few months ago and I got there right before they closed because of my schedule, very nice and personable people, even though I know they wanted to get out of there. I wish you could do deposits in the ATMs but I love my account.
Response from the ownerThanks for your 5-star review, Alissa! Glad we were able to provide service! Thank you for being a great member and we look forward to serving you again!
