TD Bank Reviews

Annalyn Reyes1The person working the lobby to open an account did not want to work because they are closing at 2pm. I got to the place at 1:30pm and As soon as I said I wanted to open an account, she looked at the time and from then on she had all the excuses of opening an account. Not a friendly person either. I will never go back to this branch in East Hanover, NJ. 👎

Andrew Krinsley1Yesterday was the most unprogressive day with this bank, which is why I'm decided to take my money out and switch banks. The service while on the surface level is pleasant. The actual work that's supposed to have been done is lacking in all expectations for a multibillion dollar franchise. Hopefully shareholders will understand that when you wish to use your debit card on the holidays and cant because your bank freezes your account saying that, You, the account holder, somehow put on a series of charges that posed suspicion, which you would have done any other day and no suspicion would have been warranted. This would thoroughly annoy most people because they need to travel to the actual bank to have the issue resolved. However even this wasn't easily resolved. Having gone to the bank to meet with the manager and have her inform me repeatedly that it was activated and the freeze was taken off. However later that night when I felt confident to pay my meal at dinner for the holidays with my friends and family, I'm embarrassed to be informed by the server that my card was declined I checked my account and had sufficient funds. However, because of the incompetance of your stores manager, my card is still declined and I still am awaiting to have the issue ONCE again to go to another bank location after the holidays to get this exact same issue resolved.

Stephanie Ancrum2I reviewed my TD Bank statement today and noticed I was charged a $1 paper statement fee. I called TD and they told me that they now charge a $1 fee for paper statements. They said if I want to avoid the fee I would have to receive an electronic statement. This is absolutely ridiculous. I refuse to pay to receive a paper statement. I should not be forced to use my paper, ink and time to print a statement at my expense, so I can save the bank money. Why is it that BANKS feel that they can charge additional fees whenever they want? I have been a customer with this bank for over fifteen years and I will not continue to do business with them since they want to nickel and dime me. Ever since they changed from Commerce Bank to TD Bank they have added additional fees and the customer service has declined. Disappointed customer

Sajjatul Nobel1Be aware...The most worst bank I have ever seen in US. Every time they will charge you for some reason and they will take your money from your account. Do not trust this bank. I'm not writing for this specific branch. It's about the TD Bank LLC. I was a customer with Citi Bank last 5 years and I was very happy with them but that was a joint account and there are not many citi banks in New Jersey so I had to open an account to TD Bank. Going to close this account soon.

Nalini Boodoosingh1I wish I could give this place a zero. Walked into the branch to use the atm, put my card in and the machine it went to "temporarily out of order", I did not even touch the keypad . It was a non td bank card so I asked the counter attendant inside if she could help me and the response was "we cannot return non TD Bank cards" . She then proceeded to dismiss me and call the next customer. So I asked "what should I do?" she ignored me. I asked again and the branch manager said to call my bank and asked if I wanted to call from the branch to which I responded yes. They then both proceeded to ignore me and went on with other activities while I stood there waiting. I eventually left without any assistance. Thanks a mil for nothing. Greattttt customer service.

Baldrexs1NOT CONVENIENT AT ALL. ATM ate my card and turned a simple withdrawal into a big headache. So much for America's Most Convenient Bank!

Rosa Rolo5I have no complaints about this branch. Everyone has always been very helpful. I agree that sometimes you do have to wait quite a bit, but I believe that is because they try to help every customer to the customer's satisfaction. I've seen that some customers are just a bit overwhelming and I think they go above and beyond their call of duty. I have never experienced anyone being rude.
