  I worked with Stephanie (VP of lending) for a new house mortgage. It was the time that the rates were fluctuating and some lenders increased their rates on daily basis. She help me to lock with very attractive rates and she kept her promise. Start to end of the lending process was hassle-free and smooth and I recommend them for any lending matters. My realtor after hearing the whole story is sending many of his clients to Sunset Credit Union for house mortgages. Thank you all at SSPFCU!

  A few years ago our credit wasn't great. We had a family member die in NY and we knew we didn't have the money for me to attend. So I went & talked to a loan specialist, told her the situation, and that we had our paychecks deposited with them. She gave us the loan. Over the years we have received awesome service. We're not just a number. When I call and mention my name they know who I am. We've financed cars, trailers and have all our banking with SSPFCU. I can't say enough good things about them!

  Not a member but I will be soon. Staff is great and they offer a lot of different services. My past experience with credit unions has always been good and in my opinion treat you better than a regular bank does.

  Sunset Credit Union has been very helpful with our home mortgage, personal loans, and our accounts in general. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable about any issues or questions we have. I’ve been very pleased being a member here for several years now

  I called asking a question as I was referred to them from my out of state credit union. I belong to a partner CU. Unfortunately, I did not receive nice service. I asked if they could cash bonds as my credit union said they do for partners. They said they did not. They said because they have to report it to the IRS. I understand this and know how bonds work. I let her know that I was referred to them and if the information I received from my credit union was incorrect, they should contact the CU to let them know for future customers. I was replied with “No one else has ever called about that so I’m not worried about it.” I was surprised by this reaction from a community credit union.

  Everyone is kind, personable, knowledgeable, accurate and human after-all. We’ve been members for many years and every product they offer is beneficial. Better than a bar, where everyone knows your name, is a credit union where everyone knows your name and how to help. Thanks Rhonda and your entire team for serving our financial needs so well.   First off, the service here is the absolute greatest and friendliest of any business I've been to! Moreover, the rates are great and the fees/requirements are low: just $5 minimum balance for your savings account and a free checking account on top of that, and you even get to have any picture you want on your debit card! I would definitely recommend Sunset Credit Union to anyone who lives, works, or worships in Washington County.

  We are in the midst of a very complicated time in acquiring a PPP loan for our small business. Our large bank accounts with Wells Fargo and Bank of America were both frustrating dead ends. For days they were impossible to get any sort of communication or progress with. Rhonda and her team have been life savers. They calmly said they would help after just one telephone call. We have had an account with them for over 30 years. How lucky! Thank you to them all.

  Customer service really means something to these folks! I'm a member of another CU, but it's too far away and so I had to find an in-network CU to make a large deposit. I'm so glad I called SSPFCU!! The woman I spoke with on the phone was so nice, and when I arrived in the drive thru, the teller let me know she was all ready for me. I'm very impressed!
