  The branch near me is good. But their mobile app and main call center are horrible. The people at their main center hate customers and treat us like garbage. I've never seen stuff like this at several other banks and credit unions across the country. Very bad.

  great customer service; went in on Saturday, line was long but tellers work fast and if they were taking a while with someone one of the tellers would let everyone know they would be right with us an apologize for the wait. She didn't have to do that because we can all see they were all busy but it was nice to know they cared

  I live in San Diego, have banked in Imperial Valley for 50 years. I have difficulty getting through to a rep by phone. On hold 10 minutes. Finally got a person today, she couldn't answer my ques, I asked to speak to someone else. I got hung up on. Called back...now 7th in line! Your service has always been pleasant in person.

  I have been a member since before they changed their name to Sun Community. I have tried other banks in the Valley and NONE compare to Sun Community Federal Credit Union. ALWAYS friendly and courteous service. I wouldn't bank elsewhere. Whenever I have had an issue, it has been quickly resolved.

  Horrible financial institution no different no better than any other. Local branch ATM ate my card one evening before leaving on trip. Called next to inform them of this and request new card. You would have thought I had asked for the launch code for nuclear weapons. Much time spent on hold for next 28 days while these genuisus figured something out...Aparently no body has ever lost or had stolen their card while traveling and could do nothing except for me to come in. After numerous times explaining That I was over 1000 miles away and that was not at all possible and since my account was closed I really ,really needed acess to my funds. Would like to add that I ended paying fines for late payments on money that usually came out of my account. Lousy customer service, poorly trained staff etc.etc. You know...Banking as usual.

  Those bad reviews must be paid because if there is a good bank in that valley is Sun Community. I have been a member since before they change their name and that's over 20 years ago. Cashiers are great assisting walk in customers and through drive-in. If you are going out of the country let them know when are you leaving and when you are planning to be back so you don't have any problems when using your card. Applying for loans is always easy. Maybe you were having a bad day and everything looked bad to you but don't blame it on the staff. Change your attitude and you'll see it pays back. Stay safe wear your mask 😷

  The people who work here caused a lot of trouble for me. It was very stressful and when I told them about it all they had to say was sorry for the inconvenience. They said generic insincere things and were incredibly rude and uncaring of my situation. When I went to the bank they even wanted me to take my mask off for identification purposes! I said no! Note they were going overboard to keep their employees safe but they wanted me to put myself at risk! If you're looking for a new bank to transfer to I highly recommend going elsewhere! They're using covid as an excuse to treat customers badly and I won't be forgetting this.

  So rude! The teller in the front was bothered because My husband asked to speak to a supervisor. He huffed and puffed and said “they are just going to say the same thing” yeah well there’s other reasons to call a supervised including because of an employee not doing their job being helpful. You are paid to be there I don’t know why it’s such a hassle to call a supervisor. Do they dock your pay everytime you call them? Because it seems so. I will be taking this complaint up further. Thank you for your time.
