Stock Yards Bank & Trust Reviews

steve brogan1Stock yards bank Eric Adams Relationship Manager The 3rd meeting for paperwork signing for property, due to losing paperwork and payment amount discrepancy. Eric Adams took no personal responsibility for the mess up or anything. He said higher upside had looked at papers and said they were fine. Higher ups thrown under the bus. He didn't understand why tellers left me waiting at the door, since he was running behind, to sign paperwork. Though he never let them know about my arrival and they closed prior to the meeting time. Bank Tellers thrown under the bus. He did say the whole process was a mistake from the beginning, whomever did the paperwork. Paperwork person under the bus. He did say paperwork showed amount to pay on documents at prior meetings to sign. I disagreed, because it wasn't there. And he wasnt at either of those meetings. ME, under the bus. I did get a hundred dollar Molones card for my troubles; though my new payment is a hundred dollars more a month than what Eric said it would be. Also my paperwork was sent to the wrong address, though he was told of the new address and that this sale was contingent on the sale of where he sent my paperwork. My place was sold 6 months prior. Eric had a phone but only chose to use it when he was forced to. Like when the paperwork was lost and he needed it resigned or when his bosses, boss got a call putting pressure on him. Anyhow I think Eric should have a bus drivers job for his ability to throw people under a bus and not the Bank RM. I would have felt more secure and comfortable going to check into cash.

Stacy Durham1It takes a lot to really upset me in regards to customer service and business interactions, but this bank managed to accomplish that. I have never experienced such consistently incompetent and unprofessional customer service as I have since Stockyard Banks & Trust took over Kentucky Bank. In the process, they mixed up people's addresses, sent debit cards to the wrong locations (to this day I haven't been able to get a debit card), and their process for obtaining historical banking records is a joke at best and fraudulent at worst. After six weeks of attempting to obtain historical banking records from my accounts (the process of which is taken care of by their "research" department in Louisville which has no customer facing contact information), I was debited $1,502.06 from my checking account without any contact from the bank to let me know of the charge or the amount. It took me three in person visits to the branch, and innumerable voicemails left (to which not one single person ever called me back), to get this process completed. When I returned to the branch to pick up my hard copy records that I then had to spend two-hours scanning myself, since it's 2021 and no one utilizes hard copies anymore, I attempted to express my dissatisfaction regarding this experience, I received incredibly unprofessional commentary from a teller with whom I'd never had any interactions with before, at which time she claimed the process only took two weeks (incorrect, it took six weeks with no communication), and that I had signed off on the charge via email. When I asked her to produce this email communication because it certainly didn't come from me, of course the teller was unable to do so. This was all combined with excuses, justifications, and absolutely zero ownership or acknowledgement regarding the difficulty of the process to obtain this necessary information, or why I had to pay $1500 to access my own banking history. I will be closing my accounts with this bank ASAP, and would never ever recommend that anyone do business with this dinosaur institution that employs such unprofessional and clearly untrained individuals.
