      Horrible corporation !! Since they took over Astoria I want to close my account...These folks are very cold, and aggressive in their dealings...NOT LIKE THE NICE FOLKS AT ASTORIA BANK AT ALL!

      Terrible bank. Jessica confronti sent me a letter to close my bank account w sterling simply because I deposited in one account and withdrew funds in another account. I do not recommend doing any business with sterling in wading river. As I can see from Other reviews I am not the other one. Do not use this bank. Jessica is highly suspicious of any checks that are a lathe amount. Normal people banking scares this branch.

      If I could give ZERO stars I would... ever since Sterling took over this bank went downhill fast... I am currently locked out of my account and for the third time. Plan on closing all my accounts this weekend and switching to a new bank. ...

      Had a checking account with Sterling and for many years previously with Astoria. Had an overdraft once and was hit immediately with a $35 fee. Called them about it and got a take it or leave it attitude. Decided to leave it and close my account .
