Lovebird 20202I don't like the fact that I paid a huge chunk of bills on a Friday early that morning and when Saturday came, they didn't post. So I guess they don't update on weekends. I hate that because I need to be assured of the left over money. I also don't like the new deposit thing where it does show up immediately even if its before 9 pm. I made a deposit at Bank of America on Saturday and it posted and the payment posted ton Sunday. They need to change this.

chris watkins1I made deposit at ATM with a check that I was paid it is also a south state check that I was paid. The deposit does not show on my account at all. I called customer service they said it go in at after midnight 3 days later. Awful delay I would never tried this useless service. I would had funds immediately if I would waited till next morning and deposit in person. What a huge step back when my account was taken over from bank of America to switch to scb&t . Atm deposits at bank of America was immediate. Looking for better bank again

Generally, we make funds from check deposits available on the first business day after we receive your deposit. However, if an ATM deposit is made after 7:30pm EST, on a day we are not open, or a bank holiday like this past Monday, we consider the deposit received on the next business day. Kim Boston1I've had an account with this branch for over 5 years. Made a deposit on their App. They placed a 10 day hold on a deposit even though the funds were received by South State within 24 hours. When speaking with Jainey at this location she said she would call me right back. (This is after calling the main number and leaving a message. You can't just "call" any branch. All calls for ANYTHING are filtered through a Call Center). It's been 4 hours later. I've been hung up on by Jainey when trying to ascertain how long it could possibly take? I will update this review but I'm not a happy or satisfied customer. This isn't rocket science. They already have the money. Why can't I access my deposited funds? Four days and waiting.

Stephen Watts4They are helpful and knowledgeable. I am not 100% with South State's online website compared to other major banks I've used before, but their being local is a huge plus. Also, their free business checking is a huge benefit as well.
