  I have been with South State Bank for a long time. I have two business and two personal accounts. I have recommend to friends and family encouraging them to bank with South State any opportunity I get. I don't usually write reviews, especially bad ones knowing the impact it can cause on a business. However, within the past year or so I have been very disappointed with the lack of communication and poor customer service they have provided me. At this particular location we have not had good experiences. The supervisor is rude and not willing to keep customers. Due to this past incident, I will be closing my accounts next week and I will no longer recommend.

  Great bank and amazing staff. We’ve had issues with other banks in the county but this one is hands down the best. They always go out of their way to help in any way they can.

  The staff and service are very professional but also very personable. I always feel that they go above and beyond to take care of me. I have dealt with many many banks in my lifetime but this ranks at the very top for me.

  I parked so I was facing South Bank and I noticed they have a confederate flag with their logo in the middle of the circle of stars. I am very surprised that it is still flying and I request that it be taken down and replaced with something more appropriate. Thank you.

  Great bank, great people.. It's a southern thing, you wouldn't understand so get off the flag.. Absolutely nothing inappropriate about it.. Love this bank!
