  Our experience banking with South State Bank - Lexington branch has been fantastic! The employees are friendly and quick to assist us with all our banking needs. They are easy to communicate with and I know our finances are in good hands.

  We do our business banking with South State and they are very easy to work with. Also, and probably most impressive, is they know you by name when you walk in the door--nice personal touch!

  Misty was absolutely wonderful when helping my husband and I with our HELOC! She was always easily accessible via email and answered all of our questions fully. We could not be more satisfied with the timely manner she handled our HELOC! Not to mention she's so friendly! :)

  I enjoyed doing business there been there always very helpful with anything I need and I did not take any photo just to let you know . That was not my reason for being there

  Horrible customer service, every time I call into this bank I always get a voicemail. Most of the time my voice message I leave is never responded to and I have to end up going into the branch to actually talk to them. Wouldn't suggest switching to this bank unless you absolutely have to and even then I would look at other options. I would rather bury money in the back yard than continue banking at south state bank.
