  Krissy at South State has been an absolute pleasure to work with on our vehicle loan. She went above and beyond the day before Thanksgiving to get our new loan wrapped up. This has been the easiest car loan we've ever gotten, despite having to return the original vehicle we received back to the dealer and exchange it for a different one. Krissy made this absolutely seamless. Two thumbs up for the car loan experience at this branch.

  South State on whitemarsh is awesome, the staff treats you like family, I've been banking there for8 or 9 years and still satisfied.

  I've been cashing checks at the Wilmington location for years. Never had a problem with the tellers but one lady seems as if she doesn't know what being courteous means! I am BIG on respect and i hate for someone to sit my money or I.d on the counter when I gave it to you in your hand. She slid my money to me and the dime...she took heat index finger and slid it...RUDE!!Today's experience was IT for me. This has happened each and everytime this particular teller has waited on me. I tried to ignore it a few times but I've had it with her!! Its very simple to give someone their money in their hand but I guess some people find it very hard to do.

  I think it is sad that a bank doesn't honor checks that are drawn on them. Now they are charging six dollars to cash their own checks and the service is even gotten slower. Every one wants some of the check that you worked for, with out putting in any time on it. I will not go back to their bank.

  Employees need to go back to daycare book smart and common sense is two different things
