  I normally have great things to say about this credit union. However, I went into the headquarters today and had to wait 30 minutes to try to open up another new account with my fiance and had 7 people pass us by without saying anything. It just didn't seem like they wanted new business at all. I have a problem with bad customer service places and I have to post online. Hopefully this can be rectified from somebody in the headquarters building that cares about 7 employees looking at an existing customer that wants to expand his finances with you. Headquarters! I mean really....30 min! We walked out!

  I went to apply for a loan and Kirsten was helping me through the process. She was very friendly and professional, but her manager came up and started yelling at her about commission sales calls in front of me and my son. The poor girl was visibly upset by this abuse, as were we. I don't recommend anyone goto this company to do business when this is how they conduct themselves at their headquarters.

  I just recently purchased a home and used Sierra Central CU. Hands down the very best home loan experience I have ever had. This is my 15th home loan and nothing compared to the treatment i received at Sierra Central. Dave, Lynde, and the whole crew went above and beyond. I felt like part of the family and was treated as such. I was updated almost daily on the status of my loan and most important every call was answered. I would highly suggest using them for any banking need you have. You won't be disappointed.

  Talk about above and beyond! I moved out of state last year and was forced to close my account with Sierra Central after many years banking with them. The IRS still had this account on file for my COVID stimulus direct deposit, and I had no way of updating it through their website. I was seriously concerned my payment would go to the bottom of the pile and take weeks to process. Low and behold, Sierra Central to the rescue! I got a call from Ashley Kern out of the blue. She said the deposit had posted and offered to open up my account temporarily just to receive it and then send me a check in Washington state, and I wasn't even a customer anymore! Now that's what I call service! Thanks Ashley and SCCU!

  Sierra Central Credit Union is very close to my house and I have never had a problem with them. The people there are very nice and professional. It is very convenient for me since they are so close.

  Everybody at Sierra Central are always happy. The people are amazing and have great loan rates. I have been with Sierra for almost 20 years and I have never change banks.

  I have been a member of Sierra Central Credit Union for a while and I have been happy with everything they do for me. I travel a lot and I haven't seen a better Credit Union.

  Friendly and professional staff. The manager, Ashley, is always there to help with difficult or unusual circumstances. Love this bank. So “home town”!!
