  I really liked these people, and did they ever help me out loaning me money on my pawn items. When I go back to pick up my stuff, they had a couple of things for sale that I wanna buy if they still have them.Due to the virus the lady had to.remind me a few times to watch my distance.I am hard of hearing and need hearing aids really bad but they are so expensive and I can not afford them.The same with my teeth I was cutting wood last winter and a limb got away from me and knocked out most my front teeth but I cant afford to go to a dentist.Since hubby died one income is not enough to pay for teeth or hearing aids.I am just glad our babies are grown.Anyway chech Security Pawn out, they are really nice people.

  Won't be doing business with them anymore said that my cross bow was 79 dollars at Walmart they have no idea what they are doing

  I have had a good experience with security pawn now for 7-8 years. I pawned a couple of items and didn't pay or call them for six months. When I went back there, they still had my items for me and still kept the loan open for another 6 months. Not saying that is what they do for everyone that goes there to borrow money. Another time I went there to buy a couple of items she gave me a good price on them. The items I bought were brand new and they would have costed me $500 at a department store and only paid half that. So yes to the reviews that say negative things is their experience...probably because they were expecting something for nothing... so to speak. Its a pawn shop...you go there for something your needing wether it's to sell or borrow. What do you expect from them to do , rolled out red carpet? A piece of cake? No!! Your there asking for them to do something for you!!! So be nice....and you might get what you want! She seems like she might be mean although she's not from my experience. Thanks for the good honest and loyal business.

  I went in today and came out with a decorative pocket knife and the case and also an amazingly nice guitar as my childs bday present and a dvd player. I paid a little over 100 for all. PLUS THEY HAVE NO INTEREST LAY AWAY! I put a extraordinarily nice and great brand crossbow ($79.99 but the bow is clearly worth in its shape now $120) and gold earrings on the layaway too. I only had to put 30 down!!! 😱😱 I plan on paying the rest within the week but they also said they work with people on payment plans! The owners wife and her employee treated me with respect and the even joked around with me. I will NEVER visit another pawn shop. This is my new spot to buy used items! Ive lived in the Joplin/Webb City area for over a year and just found this place. I wish i would have found them sooner! If i needed to pawn i would go here also! Thanks Security Pawn You guys are amazing and you have great prices! Ill be shopping again soon!

  Nice friendly to your face.but after you buy anything its hostile and deceitful ..i bought a johndear chainsaw .it started up just fine. .s.spent $400 in total but when i went to cut some trees up it would choke and sputter .i called a mechanic to look at it.the seals was burned up .it run but not cut.i called pawnshop .he was rude and hostile .bluntly stated it my problem. .he wont echange or try to make it right .unless you want ripped off DONT BUY FROM THIS SHOP

  I have purchased many things from these guys and totally happy with my purchases. It is a pawn shop and I am buying used items so I know I am taking a risk but they have always taken care of me. I would recommend them highly.

  Very hard to do business with the man I talked to was very rude and talks to you like an idiot. I was tryimg to purchase something and he acted like it was a bother to him. I've ran my own business for 21 years and have never treated my customers that poorly.

  I called them and asked if they were talking a particular item for pawn and the woman told me yes bring it in. I drove all the way there only to be told by the guy that they don't pawn those at all. Will never return.

  I've went there multiple times during there supposed hours of operation,and there closed.weird.so I guess my tip for anyone considering going don't do it.
