  Sandy Spring Bank was exceptional in handling our construction loan. Our somewhat more complex situation was handled with ease, and Eva had top notch communication and professionalism. When we had questions, Eva was responsive and clear. Our entire process was smooth and hassle free, with no setbacks. After reaching out to several banks, Eva was the most responsive and informed in showing us a clear path to closing. We felt assured the entire time we had the right person and the right bank, handling our very large financial investment, and are incredibly grateful for the positive and painless experience. Would recommend for a construction loan, in the highest regards.

  I can’t say enough about Sandy Springs Bank and Jeff Nelson. We’ve now worked with Jeff on a construction loan and two refinances. Jeff is awesome to work with. He’s super knowledgeable, incredibly responsive and a joy to work with. We’ve gotten great rates and terms each time and he’s always been 100% clear and transparent on everything. I’d highly recommend Jeff for all mortgage and lending needs.

  We have obtained many mortgages over the years across 4 states. Lorraine was the BEST mortgage banker we have EVER worked with anywhere. She was not only clear with exactly what documentation the underwriters required, but kept us apprised of where we were in the process the entire time. She is pleasant and friendly. I can not recommend her highly enough.

  Holy cow! 192+ 5 star reviews? I'd be shocked except I came here without solicitation to leave a glowing review of Mat Klinger and his team at this branch. If there was a Pro Bowl for bankers, Mat Klinger would be the starting QB. He is that good. Excellent attention to detail. Honest, personable, and keenly aware of the importance of deadlines and how they affect my business. I called the bank and he answered the phone which was a bit startling because I've never experienced that level of customer service at any other bank. I'll be a Sandy Spring member for life... well, as long as Mat Klinger and his team are at Sandy Spring. :)

  Jordan and his team at Sandy Spring were absolutely terrific! He was extremely patient throughout the entire process, and was an absolute pleasure to work with.   When I saw interest rates go down again, I knew that I could call Jason Zamoski, whom I worked with a year ago , to give me advice and the best deal to refinance my mortgage. His prompt response, willingness to pick up the phone and have a conversation is appreciated. He wants to know what you need and want before he advises and then works with you to achieve your financial goal. Jason is now on my "guy" list...my A/C guy, Handyman guy, and now, he is my "money" guy.

  Jason is a skilled lender who was able to help us secure a mortgage rate that we were enthusiastic about. With that being said, he also was condescending towards me as a woman, on a few occasions calling me "sweetie" and on others raising his voice. Additionally, Jason confirmed that he could meet our appraisal deadline, and when we followed-up acted as if this was our responsibility and wouldn't return our phone calls. Our contingency deadline was almost missed with no apology or concern from our lender.
