  Brett and his team (Edwina & Sam) were absolutely phenomenal throughout our home buying process. Brett found a special program through NY state that gave us a grant for a new roof, new closet, brand new appliances, and new insulation. I would have never known about this option if it wasn’t for Brett’s expertise in the field. I would recommend him to anyone trying to buy or refi.   Freedom Mortgage made the process of homebuying a delightful experience. Communication was constant. Jessica Vanderbeek was our loan processor and she did an amazing job. Never had to wait more than a few minutes to get email responses or any questions we wanted answered. Home buying is the biggest investment you can make. You want somebody who is going to be there when you need them.

  I am a veteran and this was my first time getting a loan to buy my first home. After a lot of research it seemed to me that Freedom Mortgage was ranked among the highest when it came to handling VA loans. Guess I should have done more research on my end. Throughout the whole time I had my pre-approval it was nearly impossible to get ahold of my mortgage agent that was supposedly helping me. Countless emails and phone calls that went weeks without hearing anything back, if I heard anything back at all. It got to the point where my wife had to call the office directly and ask for someone over said mortgage agent so that we could get some help. So hear I am today with my dream home gone to someone else, my pre-approval long over the time allotted, and my family still paying someone else’s mortgage instead of my own. If I could give them no stars I would, but one is as low as it will allow me to go so that will have to do. I will definitely be sharing my experience with freedom with the rest of my veteran friends to make sure they go to a mortgage company that actually cares.

Throughout the entire process of my home purchase, they were there to reply to my emails, answer my calls, and literally guide and support me emotionally every step of the process.
